The only issue was I thought we were getting one space and we got another. Otherwise, the place was beautiful and clean. The hosts were beyond gracious...welcoming, wonderful. We will definitely go back. It was an extraordinary and wonderful trip.

Nice little town.
Nice little town.
I is a little uncharacteristic nowadays, with some new uncontrolled construction
Still, you're able to find some nice spots for a couple of photos and good places to visit and also eat

Only went into Seia once during our stay but wished we'd spent more time there. Difficult time to review things because of all the restrictions at the moment. Recommend Taberna to eat, great food and lovely service.

Perfect getaway from busy life.
Perfect getaway from busy life. At the foothills of serra de estrela, the tiny villages, especially Sandomil, was a great break. The hosts at Sandomil RiverBeach Nest were fantastic. The house by the river is relaxing and zen. I would definitely come back.

Quiet, calm, pleasant and spacious city, many shops and offices, you can solve any issue, from shoe repair to laptop repair. There are 3 interesting and unique museums (Bread, hydropower and toys), several good roads to the mountains, clear water in the tap, a lot of forests and springs. Good Italian, Neapolitan pizzeria in the city center with an outgoing owner and quality pizza.
The property is a bit up the hill from the small town Seia. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The house where we stayed was very spacious (we were two people, but it could fit a small family) and quite cosy. You're quite immersed in nature and have some nice hikes to do nearby.
The place also has a beautiful restaurant where they offer a tasty, diverse breakfast. The restaurant also serves dinner some days of the week (unfortunately not the days we were there, otherwise we would for sure have eaten there).
Nice aparthotel on the edge of Seia, with welcoming personnel and rural chic / functional rooms (mine overlooked a lake and a pasture with farm animals) that generally have a cute vibe. I visited in the summer but am sure the fireplace must be a winner in the winter. The kitchenette is well stocked with appliances and utensils. There is a BP petrol station and a well stocked Intermarché supermarket almost next door. I will definitely be back in this hotel for my winter adventure in the Serra da Estrela.
We stayed here for a week. Anabela is the sunshine of the guesthouse. Always upbeat and extremely helpful. Breakfast is very diversified, whit flapjacks, cakes, croissants, fresh fruits... Surroundings are stunning, you can't find a more peaceful place in the middle of nature. Restaurants are located in Seia, a 15 min drive but there is a fully equipped kitchen available if you feel like staying 'home'.
Fantastic hotel, views exceptional, room was spacious, clean and well appointed with quality bedding and towels
Breakfast was great and alway left feeling full - loved the homemade cinnamon cake
Staff were very welcoming and happy to assist with anything
Bonus was the pool which when hot was much appreciated
Great location and would definitely recommend and stay here again
The rooms are brand new, location is near "fluvial beach", surrounded by nature.
The hotel restaurant serves quality traditional Portuguese food in a very nice setting and fair prices.
The hosts, Andre and Catia, are fantastic people who truly take care of their guests. They helped us plan our tour, recommending excellent restaurants and places to visit in the region.
An amazing location to explore Serra da Estrela or to just relax on one of the pools or terraces. The hotel is impeccable, the staff at the reception and in the service are incredibly helpful, professional, friendly and approachable. The cook does an amazing job and the breakfast is fantastic. A fantastic experience, thanks a lot!!
Located outside Seia, but nearby on a quiet location. Excellent space, super spacious and comfortable. Very well decorated and equipped, makes for a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the region and want a quiet, cozy location to stay that is more than your typical hotel room.
The breakfast was wonderful and very good!:) Employees of the hotel were excellent - very helpful! Location was good. Parking was OK - but a little steep driveway to get into and out of parking lot. But plenty of parking available.
Very strong location inside the old town of Seia, space highly designed to be at the same time old and modern. The building keeps clean bathrooms and confy beds, a common kitchen to be used and a living room with wi-fi.
Very nice, quite location near end of gravel road. The hosts are wonderful and warm and serve a fantastic breakfast. Close to Seia and the big mountains. We had a delightful time during our visit!
Location is great, very close to Serra da Estrela and 10mins from Seia. The host (Joao) was very kind, and proactive to help us with all our questions!
