The view of the Lamego valley from our room was terrific. We loved taking a steam and swimming in the pool to stretch and relax at the end of a long day. The restaurant was very good too for both dinner and breakfast.

This hotel is built into the side of a hill overlooking the Douro river. It is absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. It's away from the nearby town so very quiet and peaceful. The staff, from the front desk to the lovely restaurant, were all so friendly!

The management was incredibly helpful and accosting. The property was very tasteful and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. I felt very comfortable staying with our dogs. It was a great experience on a chilly and rainy day. It can be a little difficult to find as it is up a narrow street.
