There is huge selection of restaurants and bars to choose. Generally the quality is very good and cleanliness is good.
Fish restaurants near the port are really good.
If you like cooking there is the fish and veg markets, you can buy fresh fish daily as it is a working fishing port, also there is a large open air produce market about 500m from the port every Wednesday with many stalls.
The old town has more character and little bars and cafes where you can get a better feel of portugues culture. Venture into the side streets.

The boardwalk was amazing. It was long and flat. Fantastic for families, the elderly, and anyone with mobility issues. Lots of walking, biking and jogging all along there. The beaches are beautiful and you can walk for miles if you choose to

We loved the location.
We loved the location. Grocery, pharmacy, dental, were all accessible without needing a car. If you had a car other places like Albuferia, Loule, Lagos, Paderne, Faro, Fuzeta, Santa Luzia, Tavira are within an hour drive or you can take the bus. You can walk to Villamoura along the boardwalk which is about 2.5 km away. Weather was perfect for Dec-Feb, 15-25 degrees C.

We have visted the Quarteira / Vilamoura area many times and will be revisiting next year again.
Obviously the weather is a great factor in choosing the Algarve.
There are endless places to eat, you certainly won't go hungry.
Communication is rarely a problem as a majority of Portuguese people are very friendly and also speak English.
Hiring a car is an easy option to get around, lots to see and do with some fabulous beaches.
I would definitely find a different apartment to stay in, however.
Superior room was large, well equipped (sofa etc) and nice and quiet (rural location 2km out of town). Helpful staff, nice garden and pool area and good breakfasts al fresco. Free Wifi and parking. Bike hire was easy. Hotel free shuttle bus down to Quarteira beach 4 times a day. Ubers readily available which we used to go on a day hike in the hills a few miles away. Nice traditional taverna just a couple of hundred metres south for an alternative evening meal. All in all a very good inexpensive 3-star hotel.
The place was really cute, and far preferable to staying in the city centre as it was quieter and we had access to a kitchen. The pool and outdoor space was quite nice, although we did not use them at this time of year. If you have access to a car, this is a great place to stay in Quarteira as the city/beach is only a 5-minute drive. For the price and the amenities provided (notably, the kitchen) it suited us perfectly.
Location is perfect, meters away from the ocean, you are almost on the beach 🏖️
Plenty of beaches nearby, very large and sunny, nice weather too. Lots of restaurants one can choose from withinmeters of the location too. Carlos is a great guy and he is always helpful and will go above and beyond to meet your needs. Highly recommended, one of the bets places to stay in Portugal 🇵🇹
If you are reading this review don’t think twice and book your stay here. You won’t regret it. Everything. The owners are the nicest people I met on my entire trip to Portugal. So friendly and their hospitality was out of this world.
The facilities are as advertised and the cleanliness standards are very high.
The location perfect. 1 minute walk to the main beach, restaurants etc.
Easy communication and our host Andreia met us at the apartment at our specified time. She was very helpful in telling us where to find various locations. The apartment was gorgeous, very modern and just a few minutes from the beach. All of the appliances were top quality and the furniture comfortable. Best of all there were no steps. We can’t say enough good things about it.
Alain and Christine were excellent hosts. They were so attentive, friendly and helpful. (From pressing our clothes for a wedding to serving coffee on our patio) Nothing was any trouble! The room and facilities were top class. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We highly recommend Vivenda L'Olivier and will certainly stay there when visiting the Algarve again😊
This hotel is a hidden gem!
Super friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much.
Hotel rooms and all facilities are immaculate.
The location is amazing, 5 minute walk to the beach and to Vilamoura´s Marina and not far from the airport.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Thank you to all the staff!
The location can’t be beat. There is a wrap around balcony with views down the entire coast. You are far enough from the center of Quartiera that it isn’t noisy, but it’s super convenient to the beach and exploring the entire Algarve. Great, spacious accommodations for families.
Everything was perfect... Location was right next to ocean. Hosts were really friendly like all people in Portugal. We were enjoying this apartment really much. Thanks a lot... I will recommend this place for sure
Very spacious garden with outdoor seating. A little out from the centre but easy walking routes to get to both quarteira and vilamoura. Car was not necessary to get to beach or either centre. Large pool area.
Quaint Bed and Breakfast walking distance to the town of Quarteira. It was exactly what we needed for the night. The owners were lovely and accommodating. The house is beautiful with a pool in the back.
Hotel was spotless, our room was every day cleaned as brand new, hotel stuff very friendly and helpful, location is 10 minutes walk from beach, ideal for relaxing holidays . We had absolutely great
It is one of our favorite hotels in Quarteira, exceptional value for money, clean and tidy. Great location for city centre and the beach. Staff are very helpful and efficent.
the hotel is very spacious, kitchen is fully equipped . balcony is very large and facing the pool. And it’s very close to beach and supermarket, just around 10 min walking
