Imposing old city centre with its medieval cathedral.
Imposing old city centre with its medieval cathedral. Shame that 2 old houses on main square are left neglected and in disrepair. Strolling through the old meandrous streets in the ancient Jewish quarter is a must
The hotel was absolutely fine. Nice size. Could have had nicer pillows, but only complaint.
The food........
Hats off to whoever is involved in the kitchen and what you guys make. Insanely good BBQ beef ribs, maybe the best of my life and I'm a rib lover. The breakfast was lovely with great juices and superb coffee from a machine... you won't believe it!!
Wonderful house in the centre of Guarda. Super friendly owner.
Extremely clean, very comfortable bed and great modern style shower and bathroom.
Parking directly outside the property, tricky if you have a low ground clearance car, but otherwise very convenient.
Great location, with bars, restaurants and coffee shops within metres.
Very nice authentic Portugese house, right in the centre of Guarda. Basic room, basic bed.
Daniel, the caretaker, was very friendly and welcoming. We forgot something when we left, but Daniel kept it for us and we could come and collect it on our way back three weeks later. The communication was always very friendly.
Thanks again.
Hotel is very central, just a short walk to the main square. The staff is super helpful and kind. Breakfast was good- toast, butter, jan, ham and cheese as well as yogurt, fruit and cereal. They give you. whole pot of steaming hot coffee and a pot of hot milk for your table. Our room had lots of light and bed was comfy.
Really confortable beds, in the most centrical point of Guarda in front of the chatedral and easy to park, near all cafes and restaurant, really helpful and joyful host , easy to make autocheck-in, everything very clean and tidy, spacious shower, there's a shared kitchen
Hotel in good location. Close to the historical city center. Street parking close to the hotel was available and not expensive. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the older couple preparing the (really good) breakfast. They were a delight!
The breakfast was to die for. So so great. It alone justified the visit. The location, near Guarda, was like expected but the most astonishing characteristic was the views of the surroundings. Spectacular sight with horses and countryside.
We loved our stay here, it's right in the centro of old town Guarda.. it's right next to the Se cathedral, the location is excellent! The hostess is very sweet and a pleasure to meet with.
A Beautifully renovated quinta in a traditional Portuguese way, with all of the comforts of an amazing hotel. PLUS a wonderful family who runs the place. Go!
Very friendly staff, wonderful room, excellent breakfast and secure parking in front of room. Easy access to highway, perfect en route to and from Portugal.
