We were there in November, weather was rainy and windy the first day, but sunny and 65 the second day. This is a hard town to get to from Seville, so we ended up hiring a driver to take us from Seville to Faro where we rented a car and drove to Carvoeiro. Lovely little town. We ate at O Cantinho and A Gale, both traditional Portuguese restaurants that I would highly recommend. Great boardwalk along the cliffs above the ocean. Easy to walk around, hilly, but that did not bother us. Pretty short drive to Praha Marinha where we hiked the the seven hanging valleys trail. All in all, a great spot for exploring the Algarve. I would very much like to go back here.

We have been to this area before and like it’s proximity to the town, you can walk there is 30 mins, Carvoeira, also there are supermarkets cafes and restaurants nearby, some of the later you can walk to. There are several interesting towns nearby such as Alvor and Silves and beautiful boardwalks at Alvor and Salgados plus the lovely walk at beach at Pria do Vale de Centeanes.
Favourite place to eat for us have been O Algar at Benagil, La Bella Vita, Primavera plus Organic or Earth for breakfast/ brunch and Decadente for coffee snacks and drinks in the evening.

Lovely town. Lovely friendly people. Enjoyed everything the town had to offer.
Highlight was the coastal boardwalk to Algar Seco.
Highly recommend both Café Fino or The Earth Café for breakfast.
Definitely check out the fantastic Indian restaurant Pani with stunning views of the ocean.

Went in early October and weather was perfect with wall to wall sunshine and temperatures in the 20s. Carvoeiro is a nice mix of buzz and good restaurants and pubs with a busy beach. Surrounding villages, beaches and cliff walks are stunning.

The complex is exactly as the pictures show.
The complex is exactly as the pictures show. There was nothing missing whatsoever. Extremely clean with very friendly staff. The ladies in reception offer a above and beyond service. Nothing was too much trouble.
Although the complex has been built in the most beautiful location with extremely expensive privately owned villas surrounding it, it was quite remote and a car is required as we did not see evidence of a local bus service. We don't drive abroad and initially used the local taxi service but soon realised UBER were cheaper. We never waited more than 3 minutes. We paid about £22 to travel to Albuferia each way and it was worth it as the sunbeds on the beach were cheaper there so it swung in roundabouts. The complex was very quiet and we would definitely return. Beautiful apartment, beautiful complex and pool area, peaceful but more than that beautiful, helpful and kind staff
Very nice new clean villas, walking distance (very hilly though) to the centre and beach of Carvoeiro. Friendly and helpfull staff, good breakfast provided to have in your villa. Very calm and nice pool area with grass and enough sun beds, perfect size pool and temperature of the water is nice and not cold as we experienced in other hotel nearby. So kids would play in water all day long :) coffee, drinks and snacks such as fries or sandwiches can be enjoed at the pool. Parking is free at the villa itself, which also has a small garden behind.
We had 2 rooms for our family - #231 amazing view & balcony, size & clean, beautiful decor. Room #635 was also beautiful, clean, nice but view not as special - maybe planting some jacaranda in the green space would be lovely. Breakfast buffet & service of staff (all hotel staff where so friendly, kind & helpful) far exceeded our expectations! We would definitely visit again … after the pandemic we have finally made it back to Europe - Tivoli Carvoeiro & the area was a hi-lite of our trip!
The guest house has the most amazing host! We were upgraded to an apartment so I can’t speak to the rooms in the guest house, but the pool, outdoor space and communal facilities were everything we could have hoped for and more. The guesthouse is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the centre of Carvoeiro, so even though there’s no parking there was no need for a car and taxis were very cheap if we wanted to travel further afield.
Previous comments regarding this property mention 'the hill'. It's not too bad - we found it no problem. If you go to Carvoeiro, unless you're right in the centre, you're up a hill. They really aren't that bad and I'm 70+.
Every picture I've seen of the pool at Sentosa does not do it justice (except for the ones we have taken). We've stayed in many villas in Carvoeiro and this has been the best pool. When the sun is shining it looks very inviting.
What a great cute cozy stay in such a pretty place, you'll think you're in Greece. Carvoeiro was such a nice surprise and such cute places to go and have a drink or a meal near by. Everything is walkable to the main beach area, which is very small-towny but great. Overall a lot of tourists and very few local people. If you're here for the views and pretty beaches and don't care about the local-Portuguese life, then this is great.
Room was big to our surprise, nice and comfortable mattress. Wide and great selection for breakfast. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant that was good too. Receptionist was pleasant, friendly, great professional. She offered us help to book a boat tour next day, which was really helpful. We appreciated parking lot in front of the hotel. I felt sorry we stayed only one night as we could not explore town and visit the beach.
The apartment was spotless, well equipped and in a perfect position to enjoy all the amenities in Carvoeiro. It was perfect for two couples. Andy was there to greet us and was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary arrival pack was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated. We have been coming to Carvoeiro for many years and have stayed in many places, but this is now our number 1. We have already booked to stay again.
Amazing views. Make sure you get the sea view rooms!
Rooms were very clean. Beds extremely comfortable.
Staff were all very helpful and polite.
Breakfast was very nice indeed. (We went just after UK changed Portugal to amber so the hotel was very quiet..I can imagine long queues if things were Normal).
5 minute walk into town where there is a wide variety of local restaurants.
The villa was extremely well equipped, clean and modern with absolutely everything you need. You are about 2.3 km from Carvoeiro so you can relax in this beautiful country setting and enjoy the city close by. Carvoeiro is. A very alive town with entertainment and many restaurants. The staff was extremely kind.
We travelled around the Algarve for over a week and Carvoeiro town and this hotel were by far the best places we visited! It’s very quiet and relaxing with birds singing in the garden. The studio was very modern, had a very comfy bed and a big terrace. We loved our stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer.
We booked late so it was one of the only places available, very good value for money, clean and easy to walk to Carveiro Village and the Beach. Secure Parking! We were worried Carveiro would be too "touristy," but was absolutely lovely and laid back.
We liked eveything about this hotel. The star of the show was Paulo at the front desk. He was friendly, pleasnat, extremely polite, accommodating and helpful. He should be working at the Ritz in New York.
Mostly the location, overlooking the beach and close to all there is to visit in Carvoeiro. The staff of the hotel was very nice. Breakfast in the room was generous and nicely presented on picnic baskets.
We loved our stay with the Hello Villas! The space was so clean and comfortable and location was absolutely perfect. We would absolutely recommend this to friends and stay here again.
This hotel was absolutely perfect and just what me and my partner needed.
Everything was clean, staff were friendly and the apartment was just what we needed.
