We didn't have much time in Zutphen, but the old town is...
We didn't have much time in Zutphen, but the old town is very charming! We definitely enjoyed our walk through town, and would have liked to stay a bit longer (Our accommodation was outside the town, so we only had about 1-2 hours to walk around)

Good restaurants and shops; many interesting old buildings; good bus and train services to the surrounding areas, so visits to other places easily practicable. One day I went on the bus to Eefde and saw the very interesting locks on the Twente canal; another day went to Apeldoorn and the Hoge Veluwe, butthere's enough to see in Zutphen itself such as the Walpurgis church.

First time room was in 1st floor - room was so small, that I had to push my bed to the window, to get space for suitcase. Hook for coat was next to the bed what made me feel I sleep in corridor. Bathroom was bigger than bedroom. This time my room was un 2nd floor, the room was really good size and I was really satisfied with my stay. Except breakfast - still no vegetables. Poor choice for breakfast for 4 stars hotel..IneseLatvia

Immaculately clean. Perhaps because it’s still not high season there wasn’t always staff, but when they were there they were very helpful. Very close to the train station and tons of restaurants and shops.

The staff was really helpfull in finding restaurants to order your food, as we stayed in corona time. A table was brought to the room so we could have our meals there. Good breakfast.
