Small town with authentic historical inner city and plenty of good restaurants and bars; great for a weekend trip to shop, eat and relax. Also a great place to use as a starting point to explore the area by bike or car as its located in between belgium and germany - and a gateway to the south of limburg.

The hotel is conveniently located on the corner of the town square with many places to eat and drink. My stay was over the weekend and the square was very busy. Stayed in a Superior Double room for two nights over the weekend.
Upon arrival I was given a basic room rather than the superior double but when I brought this to the attention of the staff I was provided with the appropriate room on the ground floor of the hotel annex just behind the hotel on the side street which also had an enclosed patio.
Room was very nice with easy access to the street and quiet. Air condition worked very well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
All amenities listed were in place with the exeption of an iron or ironing. However I did not bring this to the attention of the staff. If I were to need one and requested, I'm sure one would have been made readily available.
Breakfast was very good and what one would expect for a European breakfast.
Parking was in a nearby underground parking garage (Oda Parking Garage). The best section for parking is section N which brings you out of the garage at the nearest point to the hotel. My parking spot was about 100 meters walking distance to the hotel. The hotel also offered to validate my parking.

Sittard is a one-square town.
Sittard is a one-square town. A nice enough square but nothing special.
The best thing in Sittard is Kafee de Kup - a laid-back, loved-by-locals pub about 200 yards from the main square. Run and frequented by the friendliest people you could wish to meet.

Sittard is a beautiful town, with a market square that was lively well into the night. It felt more like a small community square, it was full of families etc. There are some beautiful churches, statues etc. We really enjoyed our stay.
A really beautiful and spacious studio with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The cooking facilities were excellent and there is a large supermarket just over the road. It is easy to visit the area by bus or train as the station is less than 5 mins walk and has fast and frequent connections to Maastricht. Sittard itself is an interesting and beautiful old town. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and were very available but always discrete.
Nice spatious and clean rooms. Parking in the backyard. Friendly reception. Breakfast was " average. No fresh coffee, fresh orange juice it said at the front above the little tap; unfortunately it was ordinary artificial orange juice out of a a box. No big deal, but it says " Hilton" in the hotel's name .... Noblesse oblige ?
Great location within walking distance to Sittard, super friendly hosts and everything was catered for. Privacy is certainly guaranteed especially for a B&B. Breakfast is pre arranged to avoid wastage which is a super idea. Parking is available and now also know that Yvon and René have bicycles available albeit not electrical
The location of the hotel is great, right in the centre and our room (22) overlooked the square. The breakfast was good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The terrace in front is a great location to watch the world go by, the food was so-so.
Beautiful building, the restaurant staff was nice. The reason why I do want to write this review is for the hotel to improve their service so other guests have more pleasurable experience compared to mine – I care about that only.
Room is perfect for a family of four and there are a lot of activities offered in the complex where the hotel is located. The hotel is a 5 minutes drive from Sittard, a city with a beautiful and small historic city centre.
Loved the staff, friendly check in and check out. Loved the beautiful hotel and it was minutes to shops and the beautiful big church. Its a very small city but beauitful. The little square is nice for a drink too!
Great hotel on a central location. The room is very spacious and has a nice bathroom. You can par nearby in a parking garage and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast meets the general standards in Europe.
Great location, comfortable room, friendly staff, and good restaurant as part of hotel serving breakfast and dinner. Also appreciated the bike shed for secure lockup of our pedal bikes.
Our stay was very enjoyable. This was the last hotel we stayed at after country hopping. It was very relaxing after a busy vacation. The staff was exceptional, especially Freek.
Awesome location. Cool that the building was transformed from a monastery to a hotel. Restaurants are within walking distance. Room was clean. Good heating airco.
