The park is quiet and free of cars (except for arriving and departing guests). The rear side of the park provides direct access to the forest for hikes en cycling. If you're lucky you'll see wild pigs and deer around dusk or dawn. The nearby town of Garderen is small, but the centre is often jammed with tourists and locals. We planned to go to the Sand Sculpture Museum next to the hotel. This hotel is beautiful, with beautiful grounds, a wonderful restaurant where we had a magnificent breakfast and excellent dinners. Our room was big a spacious and although a family room my son's bed in the same room was set privately with a small dividing wall.
