An excellently located, short stay, hotel on the town square, and only a short walk from a nearby public car park. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms well cleaned. There was a good choice of differing prepared breakfasts. Request for rooms at the back of the hotel arranged.

Breda is a peaceful, wonderful place where you can relax, take long walks in the nature, along the river, in the woods, on the fields. There are very good restaurants and pubs in Breda, friendly people everywhere. Nothing and nobody disturbs you ever! It is the right place to rethink your entire life and put everything in a new light! I strongly recommend Breda as a starting point for those who want to know Netherlands!

We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. Compared to Amsterdam f.e. it lacks all the tourist attraction, so no canals or coffee shops. a bit plain, typical dutch.

Nice pups and restaurants.
Nice pups and restaurants. Easy shopping, good quality shops.
Rent a hotel in the centre or rent a car. No trams in the city, like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Hotels in the city can be expensive, just because they are in the city. But not necessarily good.

It has a very small cozy city center but, depending on what you like, it has enough entertainment.
I took the tour in the cathedral and went up to the tower. Walked around the city center, went to the park, stond on the "Hoge Brug"... You can visit the begijnenhof and go to a couple of more museums. Also the Natural park De Biesbosch is 30km from Breda.

A well located attractive town with good access to major routes and a fabulous train station with regular connections to other towns such as Rotterdam and Utrecht. Breda has a great range of upmarket chain stores and independent shops.
I liked how polite, yet friendly the staff was and how understanding they were of my situation.
I had to stay in the lobby with all my luggage for a while because my ride couldn't come to get me any sooner, so I ended up staying there for around 5 hours after my checkout. XD They even looked after my luggage after I went shopping around the city center. I will definitely be coming back to the same hotel if I ever have the need to do so.
This hotel fully met our expectations for a short and casual yet extremely pleasant weekend getaway to Breda. Its location was impeccable - very close to the center, as well as to a vast selection of restaurants and stores. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, and in great portions. The room was tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and accommodating.
The hotel was okay, the staff were very friendly and happy to help despite being understaffed (there were posters up about staffing levels). The location worked for us as it was equal distance between Breda station and Oosterhout and it was easily accessed via bike and there was ample storage for them
Wonderful hotel in the middle of town. We loved how the hotel retained elements of the old cloister, especially the 14th century spire. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the conveniences needed. The breakfast buffet option is worth the extra cost, lovely beginning of the day.
Location was worse than I expected... If I saw the maps carefully I would have chosen a different hotel.
Room was very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable.
The hotel looks quite new, which is not common in Brussels.
Breakfast was 0k
Away from the city center, quiet hotel with big open parking. The room was big enough for two people, bathroom requires renovation. Room was not perfectly clean.
