Everything about the property was excellent.
It was a super awesome stay.
I would particularly like to add a word about Ms. Janci, the Guest Relationship Manager of the hotel, who made sure that everything was perfect. I have not seen a more hard-working lady than Janci. Kudos to her and her amazing hospitality.

I had the most amazing stay at Rhythm! I stayed for a week with my Partner and we had a fabulous stay because of the incredible beauty of the resort and the natural beauty surrounding it and by how attentive and wonderful the staff were.
Starting with the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. We stayed in a poolside cottage which was wonderful because we had a veranda and our own steps leading into the pool. The pool itself is something else - it's really long and ends viewing the lake so it feels like you could be in the lake. Being in the pool at sunset is gorgeous as you can watch the sun on the lake.
The staff were so attentive and the food was delicious. As we were staying there for a week and dining most days at the restaurant, the staff made sure we had enough variety in our meals (even though the menu was already extensive) and the chef took extra effort to make a dish I had been craving but wasn't on the menu. My partner also had a but allergy and a dish we really wanted to have contained nuts and so the restaurant arranged for it to be prepared especially for us without nuts. I even got given a gorgeous bouquet of flowers! I've never experienced such care and attention at a hotel before, even at big 5* hotels.
Rhythm is the perfect place to visit if you want to relax and soak in nature. They also have a daily complimentary boat trip on the lake which was great fun. I've told my family and friends planning a trip to kerala that they must stay here, it's truly a gem and I can't wait to return. Thank you for everything!

The property and staff was amazing. The location is right next to Lake and all the amenities were upto the mark. I went there for my anniversary and they even prepared a cake for me on their own. The staff is very courteous and helped us with all our queries.

The evening shikara ride was great for our group and was at the right price point - 2000 rupees for 2 hours for 2 families. The bird sanctuary was a big disappointment as there is not much to see and the facilities are also very poor - of the two bird watching towers one is damaged and other does not have a great view. Not many species of birds could be seen or heard, its more of a nature walk than a bird sanctuary.

As soon as we arrived it felt like Paradise.
As soon as we arrived it felt like Paradise. As the gates shut the noise and hustle bustle of an Indian town were left outside.
The beautiful old buildings in heritage style, lovely garden with trees and the only sound that of birdsong. It didn’t end there. All the staff from Vaisakh the Manager, Amal the Chef, the lady helping in the kitchen and the lady constantly sweeping the floors and working in the garden were helpful, courteous and always had a cheerful smile. The two men were happy to enter into conversations with us when they were not busy. They also responded immediately when asked for anything.
The food was delicious and well cooked but they found it amusing that we couldn’t handle the chillis in some of the dishes.
The pool was clean and cool and very welcoming in the heat.
We spent a very happy and relaxing week at Brookside Heritage Resort and it was the best place to start our Kerala adventure after a long and arduous journey from the UK. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a property that gave us half-board meals (dinner and breakfast) and had in-house activities such as a sunset boat cruise and an evening cultural show. All this reinforced the kerala theme and made for a wonderful experience.

The backwaters are unique with water lilies and a wide variety of birds that can be viewed in a Shikara at dawn. A houseboat to spend the day and enjoy local cuisine served using fresh fish caught and sold by fisherwomen on the banks is a fabulous experience.

Kumarakom is a lovely back water locality, away from the hustle bustle of the city. Its a relaxing environment where you can disconnect from the busy world outside and yet if you need to get back to it, it's just nearby.
This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at as part of our trip around Kerala; but it was worth it. Lovely place, the gardens, room and pool area all great. The buffet food was excellent as was the breakfast. Lots of options re alcohol/drinks. It is next door to the bird sanctuary so do the early morning walk around the ground with the expert. We also booked a boat ride from there which was really great. Loved the Chai woman in the afternoon. arriving by boat was special. The staff were so professional and friendly.
Low quality build with little attention to detail.
Swimming pool was bug ridden and with exposed wiring.
Sun loungers were limited and felt like this hotel should be a lot better from the listing, and for the high cost we paid.
Had much better accommodation for half the cost of this place.
The bar is hidden in a sweaty dark room, not good for a social drink. No refreshments available, water provided in rooms.
Food was lovely.
Good location and friendly staff let down by the poor quality accommodation.
This property had everything you could ask for
Grounds - kept perfectly
Pool - clean, attended with excellent service - nice towels and beds
Restaurant - good choice of food, wonderful staff and excellent standard of food
Afternoon tea and sunset boat trip are a lovely end to perfect days by the river.
Spa - treatments are fantastic and staff lovely
Reception - all staff are kind and professional. Nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond throughout the hotel.
Excellent location for a short lakeside stay. Large swimming pool, with the surrounding patio providing a nice spot to watch the sunset. The adjacent bird sanctuary made for a pleasant walk, although birds can be seen everywhere around the lake. Walking distance to some good Indian restaurants in addition to the hotel restaurant. The boat trip at dawn was a wonderful experience. The staff consistently went above and beyond. And we enjoyed our ayurvedic massages!
Divya and Dileep have made a lovely homestay in an idyllic location. The quiet location adds to the tranquility of the stay, with multiple boating facilities on hand to explore the backwaters. Divya made us a fabulous lunch to take on our cruise, which was really delicious and made the experience extra special! We really enjoyed staying at Mango Kerala and with amazing value for money, we’d recommend it to anyone travelling around the state. Thank you!

Amazing high end resort hotel in Kumarakom! Slightly on the expensive side, it is still well worth the splurge with their service beyond exceptional! One feels very special and the staff is amazing with a lovely smile always! The well maintained pool is definitely the highlight and the lunch/dinner service exceeded expectations with a live performance at night as well!
First of all we got a free upgrade to a room with private pool. Resort is in a spacious and very scenic place. would definitely stay again. Don’t forget to turn in the mosquito repellent provided in the room :). we also enjoyed the dance that was arranged for the guest. everything has been thought through by the management to provide the best service.
Excellent location for a peaceful stay by Lake Vembanad which is very close to the backwaters. The view looking out of the cottage with the Lakeview was incredible. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset Shikara cruise at a very reasonable price. Compared to renting houseboats this is an absolute bargain if you don't fancy spending all your time on a boat!
My wife & I visited Little Chembaka from Australia for 3 nights & what a treat that was!
One of the owners, Vimal went absolutely above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
If you're after a genuine, local, proper foodie experience in the stunning Kumarakom backwaters we highly recommend this little gem.
Cheers, Mark & Niv
The location of the homestay & friendliness of the host and the staff was so good and made our stay exceptional. Having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the canal or dinner with the best sunset view was a blast. We saw so many birds, we didn't need to go to the nearby bird sanctuary. Would definitely come back here.
It is a beautiful, tranquil property. very exclusive.
the location & overall property is stunning.
the staff is fantastic. very attentive.
no crowds. no outside visitors. just hotel guests which are a small number. except for meal times, you hardly see any guests. it feels like a very private holiday.
The Dinner, Breakfast, and Lunch was highly commendable ! Good food and the staff very friendly. The Hotel rooms were very clean and well furnished. The staff all round always willing to help with a smile. Well done and keep it up!
Beautiful room with private plunge pool and view of the lake. Huge bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower. A bathtub and his and hers sinks too! Very sweet staff and lovey hotel activities included.
The property is very close to the lake. That is the main attraction and it has infinity pool.
They provide free, boat service in the lake, and also has cultural evening and good buffet breakfast.
The Resort is at one of the beautiful spots in Kerala. The ambience is too good to spent some amazing time with Family or Friends. Great food, activities and overall it's well maintained.
