Karwar is a hidden gem and its a treasure for nature lovers and for those who believe in enjoying the nature. The breakfast in Poornima was too good and the Dinner in Hotel Amrut was top notch especially their butter garlic prawns. Shwetha lunch home - we went for lunch here but my fav will be Hotel Amrut The beaches are my favourites (especially Devgad beach , Tillmatti beach and the main Tagore beach)

I wish i had something nice 2 write, The staff at the restraunt...was nice😐 Limited food choice. Hotel looks and is rundown! Except the view frm the room was a saving grace. Felt like a luxury lodge!

Our visit to Karwar at the end of Monsoon was principally to see Dudhsagar fall from train. However, landing at Karwar was full of surprises. It is a cosy town with lots of natural beauty and pristine beaches & surroundings. A little more time could have helped us to explore more nearby areas, leisurely. Sea food was amazing & very reasonable. Simplicity of public can be noticed immediately. In short, a beautiful place to visit in small budget. 👍😀
