I used to visit Alpen in Austria many times in various places; the big centres are totally full of people during the season. This is the reason why I decided myself for Annaberg - it's very nice and quiet place with not too many people, even the surroundings are prefect.

They are almost at the end of the road (only one more house behind, but quite far) so you are surrounded by tranquility. Only sounds you hear are sheep bells, birds and mountain stream. Maria (the host) is an exceptional cooker and baker. We've already missed her croissant for breakfast. Hope to come back soon!VrchníCzech Republic

It was clean, our room was tidy with huge comfy bed. The shower+ toilet is small indeed, but our aim was not to sit there the whole weekend. 😁 We had enough hot water for taking shower and space to put our stuffs, and lay down.

But very close (5mins by car) to closest ski resort Dachstein West (parking and ski-bahn place)... Super clean and perfectly equiped with such a amazing host -Maria.
