Brugge is a very beautiful and romantic city, with it's pitoresque historical city centre. One thing though, stay away from the Grote Markt if you want to have a nice dinner, to have just a drink there is alright .

Bruges is absolutely stunning!
Bruges is absolutely stunning! The historic buildings and architecture left me speechless. Bruges is a very walkable city and perfect for a solo traveler or couples weekend getaway. There are many restaurants to eat from Michelin star to traditional food to asian food, ethnic food, fast food and more. My favorite were the waffles and the cozy tea houses, especially Carpe Diem and Noah's for breakfast.
Chocolate and Happiness had really delicious chocolate also.
I highly recommend the horse drawn carriage tour and it is worth the cost.
We stayed just outside the centrum but next time we will stay closer and directly in the centrum.

Bruges is a beautiful, historic city with amazing views, charming canals, delicious food, and is perfectly walkable. We highly recommend Lizzie's waffles, the boat/canal tour, climbing the Belfry, and Otto's Waffles. Oyya's waffles are very good too!

Very fascinating city with plenty to see and do even if the weather is a bit wet.
There is a wide choice of eating and drinking establishments to choose from, however it is quite an expensive city with prices on par with London or a bit higher.
For somewhere a little bit special to eat I would recommend Tom's Diner, don't be fooled by the name because this is far from a diner.

Bruges is great to wander round with historic buildings and lovely canals. The canal boat trip is a must and a visit to the Belfort tower if you don’t mind heights! Lots of museums and beautiful churches. Plenty of chocolate shops, waffles and beer and lots of great cafes and restaurants. Two and a half days was perfect for us, if you want to do all the museums and galleries, you may need longer.

Bruges has the typical old-town charm along with good urban areas as well. The history linked to the old town is quite interesting and so are the architectural nuances. The canal passing through the town gives a lot of scenic advantages.
Beautiful hotel, felt boutique and luxury at the same time. We stayed on ground floor, room 35. Best bed and mattress. Super comfy, spacious room, super clean, ritual amenities.
Pool area is indoor, warm temperature and small but nice. Breakfast is beautifully laid out and good range.
Location is 5mins walk to city centre through the shopping street. Parking available on hotel site,25€ for 24hrs or Intercity carpark which is 200m walk at 15€ 24hrs.
Staff exceptionally especially the you guy with big curly hair. Sorry didnt get his name
The hotel is in the city center, so it was easy for us to go sightseeing. The decor is just amazing, everything is absolutely clean and comfortable. When we arrived reception offered us champagne and chips so that was a nice way to start our trip in Bruges. The bedroom was comfy and quiet and although it was located in another building right in front of the main hotel that didn't affect our stay. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and totally worth it. Overall an amazing stay with all the amenities you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.
The hotel is walk in distance from the train station (10min walk), if you don't want to walk take a taxi, it should not cost more than 10 Euro. The location of the hotel is great, very close to city center, very close to a supermarket if you need water and snacks.
We added breakfast as part of the room, which was amazing, the croissants were fresh along with the eggs and meats.
The hotel staff was always super friendly, always smiling and very helpful.. I'd stay here again if or when we visit Bruges.
The hotel was a real gem. The rooms were absolutely spotless with a high end finish. The restaurant and bar area was lovely for evening dinner and then relaxing on the terrace.
Oh, the breakfast was also amazing with a wonderful selection of foods to start your day.
All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had cycles for hire at very reasonable rates. Also it's only about 30 mins walk into Brugge itself.
It's definitely worth a visit.
It's 4/5 stars from ourselves 😎👍
This charming hotel in Bruges has the best breakfast that I can remember in a BnB style. Fresh from the market and so much variety. The location along the river canal was perfect for an easy after dinner walk that made me not so concerned about all of the Flemish stew and frites that I ate each night. I also felt more personal attention for a family of 4 than from any chain hotel, no comparison. I would highly recommend a stay and we are already planning our next visit.
The accommodation was very comfortable and great taste with the decor.
Large comfortable bed was a bonus.
Breakfast was stunning with great presentation from the host, which really set you up for the day’s sightseeing
Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something different from the standard hotel room.
We wish Elsa and her husband the very best for the future and look forward to returning back up Bruges again
Brian and Linda !
The hotel itself was nice and the beds were comfortable enough, but what really made the stay was the awesome shower water pressure and the excellent cleaning staff who kept our room looking and smelling great. Really an awesome experience, especially for the price. Also, the hotel was directly behind the Bruges Belfry which made for a very cool and unique experience walking to and from the city center, directly through the belfry.
We stayed at the Monsieur Maurice one night on our way to France. The hotel is off the beaten tourist track in a very quiet area, but still very close to the city centre.
We weren't able to book a parking for our car, but there were plenty of car parks in the vicinity, so that was not a problem.
The owner was very friendly and our family room was nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also great.
Having stayed at several hotels in Bruges the Casselburgh is by far the best, its location is ideal near to shops the main square and restaurants. The building is magnificent, the old part retaining historic architecture .The rooms in the old part are spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of fare catering for all.
A very good place to stay for exploring Bruges. The location is approx. 10 minutes walk from the city center. The place is owned by a family who will do everything to make your visit perfect. Rooms have perfect cleaning and a fine decoration in Thai style. The price level is far below what you have to pay in the city centre. Baan Siam can definitely be recommended.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great location and quite area at night, very close to the bus stop, well connected with the city centre and the station, small walking distance to the city centre.
Hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable, warm bedroom, breakfast was excellent but small choice.
Very nice hotel, we will book again if we will come back to Bruges.
The hotel was incredible, the location is perfect, the room was really clean and great value for money. The staff were very helpful and the fact you could leave your bags before you were able to check in really helped. The adjoining restaurant also served the best food in Bruges.
We drive here to pick up our (Berlin based) daughter and her dog from her train Fantastic location next to the railway station
Cheap parking and a beautiful ten minute walk into Bruges
The hotel is clean warm comfortable dog friendly and excellent value.
The hotel's location is fantastic - right in the middle of the historic centre and looking over the water. The hotel interiors are beautiful - including the bedrooms - and if we return to Bruges we wouldn't stay anywhere else
When i arrived i wanted to rate 5 stars to the hotel. The réceptionist that welcomed us was very professional and gental even she let us check in at 10 Am. for a 1 star hotel the room is verry organized and looks like new
A very well appointed hotel with a great bar. A short walk from the city centre and all its attractions, bars and restaurants. We did not have breakfast in hotel so can't comment on food
Very stylish, quiet, and comfortable hotel that is a very short and pleasant walk from the center of Bruges. Excellent restaurant, very complete breakfast. I will definitely return.
