Very calm and clean city.
Very calm and clean city. Though it is an industrial city never feel like an industrial city even if you go to the factory areas. Roads are built well and trees are planted along the sides of roads. Big thing that catches my attention was city is noise free. Couldnt hear the sound of a motor bike or even metro train sound. many places government made noise protection fences on bridges, metro rails. Electrical shooters are very common and essential vehicle here seems to be.. Very nice city

We were in Ningbo for business and leisure, and Shangra-La did not disappoint in either department. I actually did not know that this was a 5-star hotel when we booked, so we were amazed from the moment we walked in. The staff was the most professional AND amicable we have ever encountered when it came to personal pleasure (first name basis by the time we left, from managers to front desk to head chef) and attention to detail for our business meetings was also top shelf. The breakfast was out of this world, amenities were striking, and the music in the lounge was the most amazing we have ever encountered. And for a price that we didn't think a 5-star hotel could afford. We felt like we were at "home" -- one we couldn't afford, even though we could! This was my first time in almost two years heading out on an overnight vacation as since the pandemic, I've been a bit apprehensive. This was within my province, so all I needed was a QR code. The staff helped with translation and went out of the way to assist me with room service. They were kind and accommodating and made sure my stay was comfortable. This was my first time staying at a "resort-style" hotel and it didn't disappoint!
