Situated in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, 7 to 8 minutes' walk from Dashuiche and Square Street, Jianshe Inn offers simple Japanese-style accommodation.

Room cleaness and the toilet is automatic toilet seat. The manager and staff were quite helpful, kind (we got extra drinking water every day of our stay), even the language was still a bit problem. This place is in the North side of the old town, which is more quiet than the South side. If you like a peaceful rest time in the night, this place may answer the question.

I have never experienced such thoughtful service before. The boss said their hotel offers one-on-one butler service. That's right, you will receive a warm reminder from the hotel a few days before check-in, and there is also a pick-up or train service available. All questions can be asked to the butler, who will be very enthusiastic in providing assistance. By the way, their hotel also has a translation machine that can translate languages from dozens of countries, and can basically communicate face-to-face without barriers. Satisfied!

Set in Lijiang and with Fang Guoyu's Former Residence reachable within 1 km, Dream Tour Scenic Inn 梦之旅观景客栈 offers concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

The innkeeper arranged for Yun Jie, who came to pick us up from the airport, to pick us up at the inn, which helped us avoid many unfamiliar local routes. After arriving in the ancient town, the innkeeper introduced us to the best local spoon rice noodles, and then went to eat the famous local preserved pork ribs. During these three days in Lijiang, we experienced an atmosphere and cultural geography that we couldn't experience in the local area. It is worth mentioning that the personal qualities of the people in Lijiang are really high, and we can't even see any garbage near the scenic area or on the street. We are especially grateful to the innkeeper for introducing us to how to avoid pitfalls and the entire Lijiang scenic area's travel routes, which helped us avoid a lot of wasted time on the road. Cheng. Also, the flower cakes at the inn and the Sichuan cuisine made by the handsome guy are really good. Next time you come to Lijiang, stay at this inn. When we went to Dali for the next stop, the innkeeper didn't forget to help us lift our luggage onto the street, and even the car to Dali was arranged by them, saving us a lot of time. Thank you very much for bringing us a wonderful experience. In your carefully crafted homestay, we have received attentive service and a peaceful environment. The design of the house is unique, bright and comfortable, and the interior decoration is clean and bright. The bedding provides us with an opportunity to relieve fatigue during the journey.     In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!! Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places. Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

    With covid over the crowds are back, did i mention the crowds? dont go its far too busy now Only Intercontinental gives a reminder of the former peace of Lijiang - this too only a reminder when you see the scrum for breakfast

    The staff were fantastic.

    The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship. We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent. We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

    It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque. The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

    Lijiang is a wonderful town.

    Lijiang is a wonderful town. A great place to get a glimpse of China's past. The Local Naxi people are colourful and friendly. Beautiful sights all within walking distance of the Old Town. Highly recommended. Great Yunnan traditional food in the Old Town at "Yun Xue Li" (Yunnan Snow Lijiang) - 云南省丽江市古城区七一街兴文巷95号 A great vegetarian buffet (at only 18RMB per person) in the new town is Auspicious Vegetarian Restaurant Building 6, Jinkai Plaza Complex Building, Gucheng district. This is about 10 minutes walk from the North gate of the Old town.

    The property is located just outside the gate for the old town, which is the perfect location! The staff was very friendly, especially George; he helped us with trips around Lijiang and booking things. He speaks English so he was very helpful! The breakfast was good: some Chinese buns, noodles, fried rice, and vegetables. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are comfortable with a lot of space. They upgraded us into a beautiful suite!! My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here!!

    I enjoy everything 😊The room is new, quiet and clean with pickup service, fresh fruits and tea. The location is near Lijiang bus terminal as well as the ancient town. The host is very friendly and helpful. She can speak English so it’s easy to communicate. She helped answer any questions we had. I also highly recommend the tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Blue Moon Valley and the show Impression of Lijiang of this hotel.

    It was a lovely, roomy apartment, comfortable beds and extremely well-located, on a quiet street near the centre of Lijiang Old Town. Great balcony too, with nice views. The owner was brilliant - helpful, friendly and with lots of good advice. So we ate well too. A lovely short stay.

    The property is clean and the location is great. The hotel is inside the ancient city of Lujiang. The staff (DianDian) is super friendly and helped us book a taxi and also gave us good recommendations on where to eat and what to see. I would recommend this place to anyone!
