Beijing Pudi Hotel, hotel in Beijing

Beijing Pudi Hotel features luxurious accommodation with 24-hour room service. It has a fitness centre, an indoor heated swimming pool and 2 dining options to choose from.

The reception is very friendly and gave me free upgrade to the executive room. This is the best value for money hotel in central Beijing. That's why I keep coming back. The room is extremely spacious and bathroom is very good size. I like the well equipped gym, never has more than three people. The pool is a standard 25 meter pool and not busy that you can do proper laps. The location is very central, short taxi rides to all places and tube station is 5 mins walk away. 性价比最高的市内五星级酒店,没有之一。每次回国都住

Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, hotel in Beijing

Situated in the middle of the shopping hub of Wangfujing, the spectacular Hilton Beijing Wangfujing offers a prime location.

This was slightly outside the central area but a very short taxi ride to the main sights so not a problem at all. The hotel staff were wonderful - we arrived very late due to a delayed train and they made the check in process as speedy as possible for us. The room was enormous and the bathroom and separate walk in wardrobe were a real treat. The breakfast was delicious with so much on offer that it was hard to choose what to have. We also ate in the main restaurant one evening and pre ordered the speciality Peking Duck which was out of this world - highly recommended.

FAQs about hotels in Beijing

From Chinese Dynasties to Cultural Dynamics

A world-renowned gem, sprawling Beijing has magnificent monuments and peaceful parks. At its heart is the world’s largest square - Tiananmen, surrounded by important museums and the amazing Forbidden City. This 15th-century, walled complex of palaces neighbours Jingshan Park and Beihai Park with its imperial garden.

Opposite Tiananmen Square is the ultra-modern National Centre for Perfoming Arts, a beacon of the city’s culture so impressively displayed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the Bird’s Nest Stadium.

To its east is the UNESCO World-Heritage listed Summer Palace, a lakeside retreat of emperors, while also UNESCO listed is the grand Temple of Heaven in Chongwen district, where remnants of Ming dynasty city walls are visible. Nearby are several hutongs, narrow alleys whose traditional architecture contrasts with wider, modern roads including Beijing Financial Street, the city's business area.

The most popular Beijing shopping street is Wangfujing, and other must-see sights include the giant pandas at Beijing Zoo and the Great Wall of China, an easy day trip from Beijing.

As you would expect from the capital of the world’s most populous country, there are a good number of 5-star hotels in Beijing on Booking.com, mainly in the Dongcheng and Chaoyang districts. There are also several hotels near Beijing Capital Airport in the north-east.

If your prepared to join a log queue the 6 day stopover free visa gives you the opportunity to see some great sites e.g. Forbidden City (but book in advance) , Bejing Zoo (Pandas), Great Wall (40 miles away), the Botanical Garden etc.. The Metro is a cheap way to access the city, although you'll need help from Metro staff in buying tickets. Taxis are cheap. Also pick your restaurant carefully and you'll get to try genuine Chinese food.

The hotel location is average n requires 15 mins walk to Metro n eating places. Didi application for foreigners is not user friendly n at times unable to connect due to constraint if knowing the street name in English translation to Chinese words. Frustrating especially during peak hours as the taxi will apply their own fee in addition to the indicated charges. I had already secure a taxi by number that I book earlier. It stop n pick another passenger in front of me becos the other was willing to pay extra n driver just cancel my booking n claim he waited for 5mins for me at the location. I saw him drive off in front of me .. There is no authority that I can report to about his misconduct n unethical behavior. The software for Didi is not user friendly for tourists who goes not speak Mandarin to date.

When in Beijing, it will be easier if you have a language translator application since not everyone can speak English. Or if you know how to speak Chinese, then there is no problem for you. Another thing you should have is WeChat app or Wexin Pay (I think) or if you have UnionPay credit card, since not all shops especially fast foods accepts cash or any credit card. Make sure to have these Chinese government-allowed applications since most western applications on your mobile is not allowed by their country, Also, dont bother buying tourist Sim, use your own network's roaming plans. Local tourist sims offer poor signal.

A great capital city with lots to see.

A great capital city with lots to see. Super easy to get around by metro or didi/taxi. Close to the Great Wall which was a highlight for us - go to the less touristy parts of the wall for a better experience! Forbidden city has to be seen but the crowds and immense size make it pretty exhausting after a couple of hours. The park to the north of forbidden city offers an amazing view of the whole complex but again super busy if you go at certain times. We also enjoyed exploring the hutongs with their small local restaurants and bars. Four days was about right to see the main sights and not get overwhelmed by all the people!

Travel in winter means all taxes & restaurant are smokey. I wish I know that to start. Restaurants do not offer tea in pot but water only, disappointing. Still would travel in Beijing, perhaps in autumn when is not cold and smokey in doors.

Me and my boyfriend were absolutely blown away by the Nuo hotel. The staff were so professional and the hotel was beautiful. I would like to give a huge thank you to Frank who went above and beyond to make our holiday so special. I would recommend anyone visiting beijing to stay at the Nuo hotel, it was definitely the nicest most professional hotel me and my boyfriend have ever stayed in. The pool and spa facilities were lovely and were definitely an added bonus! Thank you again to all the staff and a very special thanks to Frank.

Very good location, walking distance to Sanlitun shopping area. Rooms are cozy and clean, staffs are helpful and friendly. The app Stey as a smart room controller was great. I took a taxi to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) in the early morning, it took around 35-40 minutes, I think it's quite reasonable time in such a big city Beijing. So if you want to find a hotel with reasonable price, good location and comfortable room, Stey is a good choice.

The staff at reception were so lovely and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help (special shout out to Hawwa). The hotel also organised many tours such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. The location is very central ( station: Zhangzizhonglu ) and it is easy to visit the many sites of Beijing by subway. Many restaurants are around the area as well. A really great stay and I would highly recommend.

Very close to the metro (1mn) and walking distance to Wangfujing (5/10mn). Convenient store in front of the hotel, good breakfast. Fair value/price given the location. Front desk staff speaks good English (which is far from being a standard in China, even at international brands properties). They provide lots of water bottles throughout the stay.

This hotel feels like an oasis in Beijing, very calm and beautiful courtyard, great rooftop. Well located - around 7mins to the closest metro stop. John was very communicative and helpful. The breakfast is fairly simple, but sustaining for the start of the day. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

I finally got to review this hotel. I liked the room. It is clean and cozy. The cleaning staff respects your privacy and is quiet and professional. We decided to staycation as we are in Beijing already, and we were eating at their brunch at the Signature restaurant the next day. Sunny and Bill made check-in a breeze and were quite helpful. The hotel itself is in a great part of the city. My wife especially enjoyed the lobby decorations for Christmas.
