We needed somewhere to stay to break a long car journey and...
We needed somewhere to stay to break a long car journey and we also wanted a base for a brief visit to Nuremberg. Hotel Wendelstein fitted these criteria perfectly, The staff were very friendly (spoke excellent English) and very helpful. Even though our 4 pm arrival was delayed by seven hours, due to horrendous traffic, this was no problem as keys can be accessed at any time via key safe. Finally, the beds were extremely comfortable which was especially welcome after such a long and stressful journey!

There is a free private parking in front of the hotel. You can check in even during the night because there is a contact number to the owner at the main door. The rooms are very clean and they have comfortable bed and there is a very nice bathroom. The breakfast is very tasty and the stuff is super friendly!

My room was just ok - with enough space for morning work-out. Bathroom was ok and had everything I needed. They gave a bottle of water even. For the price you pay - nothing more should expected. The lady on our arrival in reception desk was super nice and helpful. The room was clean and very confortable. We are recomending this hotel for every future Wendelstein guests!

Hotel has a modern restaurant as well, where we had a good meal. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Good stopover Hotel for us for travel further to Australië.
