So many cool things to do and see in Triberg. We walked up to the main waterfall, strolled the main street, and bought a nice cookoo clock, designed and hand carved in shop. At night we parked on a back road under the stars and enjoyed no light pollution, taking in the amazing night sky view! Definitely recommend a visit to this Schwarzwald town!

The waterfall is worth the climb, and great that it's included in the guest card issued by the hotel. We also visited the Black Forest museum, which was interesting, although unfortunately our German wasn't good enough to read much of the information with the exhibits. The scenery is lovely.

The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town, if maybe a little tourist-kitschy. There are not a lot of really good dining options -- Cafe Tresor is the only standout -- but there is a really nice grocery store, Edeka, right in the middle of town. The much-hyped waterfall is worth the short but steep hike. It's a good location to explore other towns and attractions.

Triberg is picturesque little town surrounded by forest.
Triberg is picturesque little town surrounded by forest. If you come here to see the biggest waterfall, you might be dissapointed as it doesn' t look hight at all as it has seven cascades. But it is nice short walk and easily accessible for everyone. They have a lot of easy, short walking paths around Triberg, towards little lake. Overnight guest get gratis Triberg card with free access to waterfalls, Scwarzwald museum, minitrains museum, instagram museum, swiming pool and public transport.

Google maps needs to work better for this region!
Google maps needs to work better for this region! Horrible misdirection with Google maps, so easily available stadtplans at restaurants and tourist souvenir shops would have been very helpful. But the nature hikes and walk around the old town were amazing, and the Schwarzwald museum is a must visit, along with the obligatory visit to the cuckoo clock shops. Tip: remember to skip lunch before your order a slice of the delicious Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte here: the portions at Cafe Adler are gigantic!
The location is great, because it is right in the center of the town.
One evening we ordered the rump steak, Schnitzel, Hirschragout for us at the restaurant and everyone was happy with their choice. The people working there are nice and attentive.
The breakfast had a nice variety to choose from. A little bit of everything.
And the balcony for the hotel guests is a wonderful idea. I enjoyed an hour in the afternoon with a Cappuccino there. I also appreciated that the room was not carpeted.
The hotel is very central and near the market place bus stop; you can catch the 550 bus here to and from the railway station, which is a short ride away from the town. It's above the Sparkasse, so not immediately obvious! The receptionist was very helpful and the room was comfortable. The breakfast room was nice, with outside seating on a balcony with a good view over the town. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and the hostess was very attentive.
Best hotel I have been and I travel a lot in Europe. The concept of the vintage campers is unique and fantastic. I do a lot of camping in the Canada forests and north of the US and staying at daHeim was like being back in the forest without the mosquitos... 😂. The staff was fantastic and recommend me places to go. I have been to Triberg many times and This Trip was to see the world cup ski jump competition. I will stay here again
Ooh boy, what an amazing place! It's right in the center of Triberg, only a 10 minute walk from the waterfalls. The concept is so much fun, I loved it! (I also miss my little Mupfel-Caravan quite a bit lol). The bathrooms are spacious and clean, as is the whole area. Parking space is right above the hall, equipped with an elevator that brings you right to the indoor camping area.
Staff was great, very friendly.
We were group of 4 friends visited Blackforest. The apartment is furnished with 2 bedroom, 1 living room and a bathroom. The apartment was clean and we were provided with new blankets and towels and toiletries. It has a kitchen so you can cook there. It's walkable distance to the waterfalls which is the highlight. We always walked to to downtown which is about 10 mins walk. Worth for money
I liked the room , the beautiful view from our room , the staff friendliness especially when we had a medical emergency (The staff put bandage on me) It's location also because it is located close to Triberg Waterfalls and other main tourist spots in Triberg . We were not expecting the staff to know fluent English but they know fluent English .
It’s a family run hotel & the staff is very friendly & sweet.
The breakfast is very good & great spread with enough choices. The restaurant serves great food with good service.
Triberg is a very small quaint town & the main city center is just 7-10 mins drive. The hotel is located in a very quiet location in middle of greenfield etc.
Highly recommend this hotel. Good quiet location above town & views amazing. Easy parking, enjoyed using outside terrace for drinks, restaurant superb with good regional food. Used the indoor pool after a busy day sightseeing. Staff incredibly helpful & friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.
Triberg is a very beautiful place. A guest card and public transport card were left for us at the entrance. With the guest card, you can enter many places for free or at a discount. I suggest you check out where this card offers discounts, it was out of date when I realized it :) Comfortable stay for 2 people.
The apartment is at a great location, very convenient to visit the nearby attractions. The owner was very friendly and obliging, offered us the Konus card (which saved us quite some cost for entry to waterfalls) and also pointed us towards free parking area nearby. Good value for money.
Excellent panoramic view from our room! Well kept property. Very clean and orderly. Central location to the amazing Triberg Falls. A big public swimming pool up the street, perfect for cooling off after a hike.
The hotel is located at the central road of Triberg just few minutes walk from the waterfalls. The room are newly renovated, simple, spacious and quite comfortable. The breakfast was great with large variety.
The location is towards the end of town and about a 5-minute walk to the main Waterfall entrance. The Town is very clean and we loved the atmosphere. The Hotel was beautiful and spacious
Exellent location and calm area. Everything was nearby, we walked to Triberg waterfall in 5 mins. Parking was in front of building. Coffee machine was great and welcome drinks.
Perfect location in the center of Triberg. The host explain us where to park our car for free and sold guest cards to visit the waterfalls and a museum with discount
The employees were very patient with me and spoke both German and English!! Easy walk to the Triberg Waterfall (free ticket for all parties with your hotel stay!)
