The hotel was charming and welcoming, beautifully furnished with antiques. We had some very interesting chats with Waldemar who advised us on the selection of wine with our dinner (Rhein one of course), could speak fluently any language one could think of ....and saved our adventurous dog from falling from the roof (it is a pet-friendly hotel but our dog exceeded expectations)

I thought it looked quirky and a bit old fashioned but the truth is that it is a very basic place to stay. The prices should have alerted us to this but somehow didn't. So our mistake. The breakfast was just about OK, but nothing else was. We left after one night (due to stay 3) and did not have a meal other than breakfast.

We were going to to a New Year festival at our Ashram Shree Peetha Nilaya and it's near by. It was so cozy in the lobby with winter pictures and nice relaxing music. This time. I had single room and that was nice, clean and everything I needed for the stay. ❤️DortheDenmark
