The hotel is outside Putbus in Lauterbach.
The hotel is outside Putbus in Lauterbach. This has several restaurants. We enjoyed the Kormorant and went there three times. There are excellent walks from the hotel. At night, listen for the owls in the oaks.

It’s not a five star hotel, yet we were pleasantly surprised by the room size, the beds, and especially the fabulous breakfast. It’s 3 minutes away from the harbor, and a short car trip from Putbus and other attractions on the island. It was good value for the money.

The staff is lovely, the breakfast is more than ample. The restaurant for dinner though is amazing - we ate there twice. Dog friendly hotel and restaurant too.
