We required a stop over on a drive From Northern Italy (Ortisei) to Brussels.Pforzheim was the mid point.The hotel was good with associated secure parking.We had a good breakfast but did not use the restaurant for the evening meal as it appeared somewhat overpriced for the hotel.We ate in a nearby Greek restaurant.The town sadly was destroyed by bombing in the latter stages of WW2 and apart from a river very little of tourist interest in the centre of the town,

The staff was very nice and the check in and check out process were very fast. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night sleep. I paid 8 euros extra to have to car in the underground garage.
