The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by. The palace and gardens are a real gem. There are tours of the building and the gardens offer a chance to relax in a scented environment

We were on an ancestry discovery trip, so the location was convenient to some of the little towns I wanted to explore. Didn't really do any of the touristy things in Ludwigsburg, but did visit the town's square and had a great German dinner at one of the restaurants (Ratskiller).

The Palace and grounds are well worth a visit.
The Palace and grounds are well worth a visit. Public transport is very affordable and efficient and within easy walking distance of the Hotel. We had a full day trip to Stuttgart and enjoyed the open top bus trip and one of the many museums around the central piazza.

Ludwigsburg is an interesting town combining a modern spacious city with baroque buildings and gardens. Good communications with Stuttgart. Many great places to eat during the day but a lack of places to eat in the evening. Interesting computer games bookshop.

The place was excellent.
The place was excellent. My bed was very comfy and it was cleaned daily. I was very impressed. They should take budget from their name, because I felt like I was in a five star hotel. There are several restaurants only a few steps away, and the train station is right across the street. The station contains eateries and grocery stores. Just plain convenient.
The first impression of the hotel was made by the exceedingly hospitable and informative staff. We were warmly greeted, well cared for, and fully accommodated.
The room was spacious and well appointed, and even had an air conditioner (a rarity in Germany).
Free coffee and tea was a nice touch, as was letting us store our bikes inside.
Breakfast was handled, considering the health and safety restrictions, quite well. There was a good buffet, but guests were served by staff. It worked!
This apartment is equipped with everything you need -- above and beyond! A big safe parking lot is ~30m down the street. It's not walking distance to Ludwigsburg downtown/palaces, etc. but the are is quiet and beautiful. Modern kitchen allows (even provocates) to cook "at home" all your meals, breakfast to dinner. The bathroom is just awesome. The hosts are very friendly, and so are pets on the first floor. Don't look for more, you'll have a very comfortable stay here!
Nice peaceful hotel located in a huge park. Room was nice and clean, perfect for a one night stay. No air conditioning in the room, so keep that in mind if the weather is warm. There are a nice Biergarten where you can eat and drink. You can also enjoy the small lake by renting a paddle boat.
Great room, nice location, portable air conditioning which kept the room cool while I was outside. The minifridge was a big plus, and it kept my drinks cool. Easy access to the hotel room with the key, just don't forget it inside after the reception closes.
The modesty and cleanliness of this hotel are its strong points. I've stayed here three times now and all visits were satisfying.
The hotel has also great value for money, and you can park your car directly at the hotel's premises.
Superb breakfast & the location was great. A 10-minute walk from the train station & 10 minutes to Ludwigsburg Residential Palace. Perfect.....right in the middle. The room size was excellent.
Location was rather superb, the car parking was just accross the streat, there was a big shopping mall next to the hotel and nice walking roads leading to the central palace.
This hotel was absolutely spotless and very restful. It is only a couple of blocks from the old square and has a parking garage directly across from the entrance.
Clean hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff, close to center of the city. Convenient indoor garage. Certainly exceeded our expectations, will definitely go back.
