Great location - only 300m from the Central Station, and about 500m to the market square. It is well worth taking tram 15 from the Central Station to see Völkerschlachtdenkmal (Monument to the Battle of the Nations) as it is such an impressive monument and walk up to the viewing platform if you can.

I stayed at Adina Leipzig for the second time. The location is perfect, the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The small apartments offer everything one might need for a stay of a couple of days. The WIFI works perfectly. There is also a very nice but small Wellness area which I didn´t get to use this time, unfortunately. The buffet breakfast ist fine with a lot variations.

Famous for its history and exceptional architecture, Leipzig is an important city of commerce and culture. Called a “Little Paris” and home to many great composers and poets, this city has something for everyone’s taste.
Its streets hide a lot of secrets so keep your eyes open for unique passages, the most famous of which, Mädlerpassage, is filled with upscale shops and bars. For a breath of culture, visit the houses of Mendelssohn, Schumman or most famous of them all, JS Bach, whose remains are buried in St. Thomas Church, where he worked until his death.
Leipzig’s architectural styles are best seen in person so don’t miss the Plagwitz (an old industrial district), the Rundling inter-war housing estates built in concentric circles, or the stunning Renaissance Old Town Hall - a truly iconic landmark.
For those tired of the hustle of the city, there are several lakes with beaches and watersports surrounding the city. A green belt of parks and woods also crosses Leipzig and gives some breathing space.
From Leipzig/Halle Airport all the city’s attractions are just a short ride away. Whether you’re looking for a stunning hotel, a friendly guest house or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Leipzig trip.

People in shops and cafes are very friendly and happy to help. There are a lot of cultural things to see and do, theatre, opera, music, old buildings, museums or you could just walk around and marvel at the beautiful town. Loads of shops, pubs, cafe's and restaurants, as well.

So much history, the museum in the old town hall was really interesting. Napoleonic history with the Battle of Nations (from 1813) memorial a treat and worth taking the City Tour Bus for.
There is plenty of other history with JS Bach, Mendelsshon and Schumann all having links here.
Post war East German State has left its mark with interesting Stalinist architecture and the Stasi Museum also very interesting. The 1989 protests against the East German state started at the St Nicholas Church.
Post reunification has also been positive for Leipzig with a vibrant cultural and architectural legacy. Also the home of Red Bull Leipzig football club in a fantastic modern stadium. A great city to visit.

I can now say Leipzig is among my top 3 German cities - definitely coming back one day! Beats Cologne and Berlin by miles. The locals are very friendly and sure the city has got soul. A single adult zoo ticket costs 22€, it is so worth it though - make sure you can spend 4 if not 5 hours there!

Leipzig is a beautiful midsize town where everything is at a walking distance, at least in the downtown. It's full of historical buildings and above all it's where Bach and Mendelssohn lived and worked so it's a very musical place, with one of the finest orchestras in the world: the Gewandhaus Orchestra. Leipzig is a must for anyone who loves history or music.

Loved the architecture of the city and it was easy to find my way around. The Spinnereistraße area, Plagwitz area was also fantastic for creativity, independent shops etc. Grassi Museum and Fine Arts Museum both brilliant - I only had one day for museums, I could have done with a week!

A lovely and vibrant city - easy to get around.
A lovely and vibrant city - easy to get around. The hop-on hop off tour is always our first stop in any city and this one provided a great way to see and locate the main sights. The Battle of the Nations Monument is well worth hopping off the bus to see. The walking tour guide obtained in the Information Office identified all the main sights and was easy to follow on foot(ours was in English). Visit both main churches (St Thomas and St Nicholas). We were lucky to see a performance by St Thomas boys' choir - well worth queuing for if you get a chance. The museum in the Old Town Hall was terrific - well laid out (and in English as well as German)- don't miss the bit about the city since the end of WWll - astonishing. The main station (Hbf) is very impressive-if you like that sort of thing (some where to shop if you are pushed on a Sunday, as it has a huge underground shopping mall).Great shopping areas elsewhere. Lots of other cultural and historic things to do and see. All-in-all a gem of a place.
Everything is more than perfect, we were a group of students coming to visit Leipzig University. The hotel at the heart of the city center. Everything within walking distance. The room is well equipped and has an air conditioning, which was very important as the weather in Germany was very hot. A high end coffee machine with all kind of coffee was available 24/7 at the reception, which is a plus. The receptionists are very friendly and helped the team a lot. We will definitely come back again!
A nice, book-themed hotel. True to its name, it had several books available for perusal in the rooms themselves and on the corridors. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, the location was very good - the city center and the train station were within walking distance, which was a huge drawing point for me. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed staying at the hotel. If I visit Leipzig again, I will definitely stay at the Book Hotel.
It was my 2nd time in Leipzig and the 2nd at Spirit Lodge as well. If you like 'Twin Peaks', you'll probably enjoy your stay: most of the things there are made of wood, which gives the property the vibe of The Great Northern hotel from the TV show. The facilities are excellent, there's everything you may need for a short stay. Sebas, the property manager, was really helpful and let me use a laptop for a while.
Conveniently located near the central station and tram stops.
The room had everything we needed and was comfortable.
The inside of the hotel was clean and beautiful, and the sensor-based electricity management was an eco-friendly initiative. (Because I always feel that there is no need for lights to stay on in an empty hallway...)
I would like to stay again next time I visit Leipzig.
About 4-5 stations from the centre by tram. The tram stop is just next to the hotel. Nice staff, spacy room, comfortable bathroom. It was hot and the room was equipped with a fan. Breakfast was to be ordered before, but we got everything we wanted in both quantity and quality. The price was really fair when considering prices in Leipzig.
This is really a good hotel with a perfect location. Next to the main station and city center. Very tidy and clean. It is really nice place to stay, nothing more should be said:)
Extra points are for giving me both booking.com discount and BW points (I did not have a card with me, so they found me by name).
It is stylishly modern in an old world building. Our room was very comfy and spacious. Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast delicious and served in a beautiful room. The hotel is steps from the main square and many sites. We liked what we saw in Leipzig and loved coming back to our hotel after the day out.
The location of the property was very good. It was close to both Hauptbahnhof and the city center. The modern style and the beautiful colors of the hotel also. The complimentary of the bottle of sparkling water was a nice touch. A kettle would be good too as it usually happens in four star hotels.
Perfect place for a family or a group of friends! Quiet, clean and cozy, kitchen fully equipped to have a breakfast on a sunny morning, nearby markets, restaurants and cool pubs were a big plus as well. Love Leipzig and hope to return here again.
Hotel is perfectly located just a couple of stops from old town Leipzig. It is an old building, but the rooms are completely refurbished and quite big. Breakfast really nice. Outdoor place also pleasant for a (free) coffee.
The hotel is located in a quiet street away from the city centre. The staff, upon arrival, were very welcoming and offered a free public transport pass for each guest. Overall, a pleasant stay ay Balance Hotel Leipzig.
Very nice hotel in interessting neighbourhood of Connewitz. Rooms are clean and good equiped, breakfast also very good. Restaurant recommendations in the area are great, Leipzig has very nice local beer.
We booked the hotel only for one night as we were visiting a town nearby Leipzig. I wished we had stayed for more not only because of Leipzig but also because of the great quality of the hotel.
It was very easy to enter and exit, we went to the Leipzig Bookfair so it was the best offer so close to the congress. That price is unbeatable, other hotels start at x3 of what we paid.
The place is very clean, also its near to the hauptbahnhof (3 or 4 stations with the tram). The guide there helped me a lot when I had problem with the language.
Overall, Im satisfied.
The hotel itself is in perfect proximity to the airport. This was very convenient for me as a flight attendant. The restaurant/breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is the best hotel in leipzig, if you ask me. Very cheap and close to the train station center .And people are so good and kind, simple to flow with
(EXCELLENT) Explanes our stay on ever level including there food and service. We will be back to Leipzig and we will be using this Best Western hotel again.
A hostel rather than a traditional hotel. But, relaxed, efficient, with helpful staff, and great value for money in a superb location in central Leipzig.
