Lovely and romantic little town, easily travelled from...
Lovely and romantic little town, easily travelled from Munich by train. Not much to do once you visited the castle and a couple of museums, but then again, the charm of this place resides in the atmosphere of it's streets, cafés and terrasses of the old town. We spent only two full days there and every single person we met was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend, however, to brush up on your German language before you go as, aside from the staple restaurants and hotel, not too many people spoke English... But then again, this is not UK or the USA.

Fabulous historic town; very friendly and helpful locals, who are very proud of their history. The fortress is a must; it only takes about 20 minutes to walk up to from the city centre. Great food, both in pubs and fine dining restaurants. Generous portions. Great cake shops. Great shopping.

The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Train station has bakery shop, some fast food and magazine shop so easy to pick up some quick bites if you didn't want to eat in the hotel restaurant.
