The bed was very comfortable, big and soft. The shower was hot and a good size. The room was spacious. The breakfast options the next day were very good; I was happy with the quality and range. The staff were very nice - I thought it was a plus to have such a friendly lady at check in.

The breakfast was very good and on the 2 occasions that we ate lunch there it was very good especially the black angus burger. At the beginning we didn’t get a room that match the one we had booked but we were eventually given another room. The room smelt strong of cleaning fluid which was really irritating. The shower over the bath was difficult to get in and out of. The block became blocked and was fixed but never really worked properly. We changed room for one with a walk-in shower enclosure. In this room the bathroom ventilator didn’t work. We complained but it was never fixed. The toilets in this room frequently made strange noises and the toilet also didn’t flush very well. The rooms surround the atrium which included the bar and restaurant snd it was quite noisy on some evenings.
