I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nuss due to its amazing location, with the Bahnhof just minutes away, providing quick and convenient access to Eibsee within a 10-minute train ride. The staff at the hotel were not only professional but exceptionally kind and accommodating, adding a personal touch to the experience. The combination of a great location, efficient transportation to Eibsee and Zugspitze, and the wonderful hospitality of the staff made my stay memorable and highly recommended. I look forward to returning for another visit.

The Host is Simply an amazing person. She is here everytime and very very helpful, very kind, very polite. The place is very very clean, the room was extremely clean as well as the toilet and bathroom. We got a small water, Haribo and chocolates in the room. Heater was very good and very hot water. Breakfast was good for us, boiled eggs, cold meats, bread, cheese, butter, cereals, coffee, tea and juice. The property is old but very nice with beautiful decoration. A fridge is available with drinks at very cheap prices.

Grainau is a short drive from more commercial Garmisch, but connected by a bus system that is free to anyone using the Zugpitze Guest-Card, (which your host/hotel should provide you). If you're hoping to stay a little farther from the center of the action, this is the perfect place, but it does have less options for dining over the weekend, so you may need to head back to Garmisch for meals.

My wife and I were travelling for past 30 years throughout the world, and House Florian is one of the best accommodations we had ever had.
The rooms are large, well equipped, spotlessly clean. I always pay attention to engineering details and quality of finishes, and House Florian is a fine example of German quality and precision.
The host, Carmen, I may be poor in my expressions – she is just amazing, to say the least…
Always smiley, kind, and helpful.
Highly recommended place for visitors looking for peace, and skying in and around Garmisch-Partenkirchen – most notably the Zugspitze.

We are very familiar with the area. It is an excellent location. Not far from the Eibsee and of course the Zugspitz. There are some excellent eating places in Grainau. We will come back again. We recommend a walk around the Baadersee which is nearby.

Restaurant in Am Bader see is fantastic, wide spread of delicacies, yammi breakfast.
I would recommend to include dinner and breakfast buffet for halal food eaters.
Great pool and view of the mountains when you are swimming.
Beautiful patio and relaxation area behind the house.
Very close to the Zugspitze Mountain and Garmisch-Partenkirchen
The spa area is fantastic and one of the saunas
is on the outside of the house and has a window with views of the mountains
Nice breakfast and breakfast area.
Nice treats and tea in the afternoon
Some really nice restaurants nearby
Very nice personnel in general
Peaceful and quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac
Staff at the reception was nice. Breakfast and wellness area (which included 2 saunas, pool and a massage table) were great.
Owner was very friendly and talked with the guests at breakfast and even gave me a lift when I needed to go to train station in the rain and did not have umbrella. Rooms very clean and generally the hotel is very well thought through and equipped well (spare umbrellas, newspaper, souvenirs you can by right at the hotel, post box if you want to send a postcard).
Nice place to stay if you want to visit Eibsee or/and Zugspitze. The room in the hotel was perfectly clean and the location of the hotel is not bad at all. The Eibsee bus stops very close to the hotel and also the village of Grainau is very beautiful. We took the bus to Eibsee and after that on the way back we walked down which I recommend highly due to the breathtaking scenery.
This is an immaculate, charming house, beautifully restored, with excellent beds and linens. We enjoyed the historic Bavarian atmosphere and close proximity to the Zugspitze, the beautiful Eibsee, Oberammergau and Garmisch- Partenkirchen. A perfect location and a very relaxing, peaceful place to stay!
Superb location. Gorgeous hotel. Clean and hygienic. Nadin was superb host. She makes one of the best omelettes. The location is picturesque. They have a small garden with swings, slides, vehicles for kids. My son enjoyed a lot. Ample parking space a plus point.
Carmen was a great host, she tended to all our needs and Grainau is a perfect little town as a base to be around the Zugspitze area. The rooms are traditional and adds to the charm of the area, definitely recommend staying here in Haus Florian.
The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the dinner. Large portions, different menus every day. The rooms are clean. Convenient location. Beautiful view from the window. We were satisfied with our stay.
Food was excellent- very high quality. The lake recreation equipment was also of good quality and plenty of it. The sauna was lovely. If you want to do Zugspitze ask the front desk if they have a discounted rate before you go.
The location is beautiful and close to Zugspitze and Eibsee. The room was clean and spacious. It is close to several hiking trails and the hotel offers guest cards for free public transport and some discounts.
I like the view of the hotel it was gorgeous. The free parking lot was ok. There as a bowl for the dog wish was ok but only one bowl so you needed to choose water or food.
Location in nice and quiet Grainau and right next to a bus pickup. Apartment views and decor were both great. One of the best Zugspitze views you can find.
