Gifhorn is worth visiting in its own right, but being so close to several other cities of beauty is a plus. There is a good Autobahn connection, but the slower side roads are also worth traveling. Braunschweig, Celle, Wolfenbuettel, Wolfsburg, Wernigerode, even Goslar are close enough for a day trip. Museums, castles, picturesque Altstaedte are just the beginning.

The apartment was compact, with plenty of space for relaxing inside and on the balcony. A nice touch was the bottle of Volvic water and some biscuits. Plenty of free parking. FAST wifi. Gifhorn had an interesting Mill museum. Place is also about an hour's drive from Celle, Braunschweig, Wolfenbuettel and Wolfsburg, all of which are worth visiting.wanderwoman424United States of America

There is a lot to see around and the hotel itself runs a lot of different activities. Room is a normal size, it was perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff is really nice and speaks pretty good english. Breakfast was great with many choices, i would only love the choice of a bigger glass for a drink.
