Euskirchen is easy to overlook with very good connection to larger cities, my favourite Cologne but also Bonn. So quite good place to live because prices are different from the large towns. Terrible experience and now we understand why it was the only available hotel in the neighborhood of Thermen. Really bad breakfast! One cucumber!!! and was not even cut!!!! No eeg and one koffie machine for all the guests! Are you kidding me 4 stars hotel!

I was greeted by name each time I entered the hotel reception desk which was very nice and personal. It really did make me feel welcome. I didn't have breakfast, only a coffee. It was a busy time in the breakfast room and with only one coffee machine the queue was long, particularly when people were getting drinks for the whole table. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. The staff were very helpful; we arrived one hour before check in but a lovely lady let us in anyway and helped us to our room. I also liked the fact that there is a bar in the hotel so after a very nice dinner out with relatives we all went back to the bar for a nightcap! Staff was wonderful and welcoming despite our very late arrival. Breakfast was delicious with cold buffet and freshly baked eggs. Room was spacious.
