This family owned and run hotel was just wonderful. I did not expect to find such a gem in the outskirts of Schwerin. It is what I call an honest down to earth hotel, the staff wonderful, the room in much better shape than I saw on certain high class hotels in my traveling past. And although I booked on a very short notice during traveling peak season / long weekend, I think I got the best room there - facing west with a balcony, able to enjoy the sunset. And as the hotel, so was the food in the restaurant - honest and very good. I strictly recommend this Hotel.

Rowboats can be taken out free of charge whenever you want, huge green areas for kids to run around in and explore, play on a playground, on a small soccer pitch, etc. Houses come with fully-equipped kitchens and all cooking, utensils, etc. Some units have an outdoor sauna. Very quiet area, around 5 minutes drive from the next village with grocery stores etc. Super nice and helpful host.

The location is perfect. The breakfast was good, a lot of variety! The room was ok, I liked the view over the city and the comfortable big bed. There was a full size mirror which I always appreciate. The bathroom was very clean.
