It was quiet and relaxed.
It was quiet and relaxed. The Biggesee lived up to expectations and to get there by Land Train from Attahoehle was a bonus. Walking in the woods was fun. There are plenty of bars, but too few shops, though we were satisfied with what we found, especially the large Rewe. All-in-all this was a very pleasant stay in a very pleasant town. We found nothing to dislike about it

The restaurant on site was fantastic amazing food. Breakfast was a large buffet with plenty of healthy options. Staff were wonderful. My dog was welcomed like part of the family, with her own bed, bowls and towel in the room for her. Coming up to Christmas time so fairy lights and decorations dotting the place really added to a gorgeous atmosphere. Close to plenty of nature walks. Would love to stay again.CaoimheGermany

Its setting above a Attendorn is a delight, bur accessed by a winding road well worth the journey. It is in a genuine castle (Burg). Our room was large and airy, well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable and spacious. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Meals taken in the hotel were of good quality and of generous proportions. A delight to stay there!

There are only a few restaurants around, need a car if you want many choices, but this restaurant is also very nice and food was fresh and tasty. Atta hole is close.
