It's a good base for the area.
It's a good base for the area. The castle with the brewery, museum and Battle of the Bulge museum were interesting (1/2 a day max). Its worth climbing the tower for the view. There's a enough bars & restaurants to offer variety for a few days. We're not hikers, so no idea on that.

A pleasant little town - good for a relaxing weekend but don't expect too much in way of shops - castle and museum is nice as it the Parc de Wiltz. The restaurant at the hotel is great and we were able to sit in the garden, good food and wine choices.. great service.

I recommend dinner in the hotel restaurant, both for the wine-cellar ambiance and because the food is good. The wine selection is small but excellent. My bathroom was en suite and included a spa tub. My room had the good feel of a bedroom in a house, and not an antiseptic hotel room. There was more than enough space for our family The restaurant downstairs was amazing! There is a grocery store across the street, and the tourist information center is right behind the hotel.
