The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and private. I brought a small dog with me, and I was very pleased that there was a grassed area just outside to walk her and that the room had wooden floors.

As we visit Tamworth annually to play darts, we mostly see the inside of the club where the tournament is held. The town is very quaint and it's a really country and western town. Tamworth has some nice parks and walking tracks which are great.
Nice restaurants are situated in the town and its great to be able to sit a look at the people passing by

It is a bustling city. Not a sleepy country town.
It is a bustling city. Not a sleepy country town. Numerous clubs, cafes and places to eat and drink.
Difference people are warm and friendly.
Large shopping complex with numerous shops along the main street.
Everything you would find in a Sydney suburb.
Visiting during the Country Music Festival is a bucket list experience for anyone into County music.
A great choice of accommodation.

The only good thing to come out of Tamworth is any road leading away! The one good thing is the Dragon Palace restaurant. It's very good that's why it's busy. What has happened to the motels? We were booked at
Tamworth Lodge Motel which we couldn't stay at, it's filthy! Then we went to the Town and Country Motor Inn and the pillows smelled of sweat. Hungry Jacks gets a serve for failing to do there job too.

Tamworth calls itself the Country Music Capital of Australia...
Tamworth calls itself the Country Music Capital of Australia, this is backed up by the Australian Country Music Hall Of Fame, and the Big Golden Guitar monument/motel. One thing about the Hall of Fame is it does close at 4.00pm, and as I have never arrived in Tamworth before this time, I truthfully cannot say very much about it. It's still on my bucket list.
It's a beautiful city, nestled in the Great Dividing Range at a height of about 500 meters, so it does get a bit chilly in winter, (Armidale, 100k+ to the North of Tamworth has been known to get snow when the weather gets very cold) so take extra woollies in the winter if you go then.

The views from Oxley lookout were spectacular. The country music hall of fame exhibits were excellent. Main Street at night is very pretty. Motorcycle museum was fantastic.

For Tamworth to be known at the country music capital of...
For Tamworth to be known at the country music capital of Australia I was disappointed that there was not one pub or club known for having country music . Other than that it was okay . We visited the Golden Guitar. The look out was a great view . The kids park is great for the kids . Other than that not much to do in Tamworth . No we’re near Nashville. Maybe we need to visit when country music festival is on but don’t need to visit Nashville when the CMA is on to have fun or listen to country music or visit a country music bar .
although I have been stayed many motels in Tamworth , Country Capital motel has became my priority one due to the following reasons:
1. Hot breakfast has provided with a good rate;
2. Breakfast has started earlier than anyone else I have stayed. this has perfectly matched my work needed;
3.Size of the room is larger than others that I have stayed, room is also nice and tidy;
4. All staff has showed great manners and patience;
Well done CCM! see u next time.

The property is ideally situated adjacent to business park, Longyard Hotel and Tamworth Entertainment center and Equestrian center. The rear of the building abuts to the golf course with the balcony having unobstructed views overlooking the course. Staff were super friendly and helpful and treat you like a member of the family with nothing being too much trouble. You could not ask for better. We will be back!
This motel offers great value for money. I really can’t fault it. Staff were super friendly. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Nice pool Area. Restaurant on site. And in included in the price is the best continental breakfast I have had, pancakes were delicious. If I ever come back to Tamworth, I would happily stay here again.
Very clean rooms, which were of a good size,heaps of hot water, bed was extremely comfortable, even though on a main road room was very quiet , office lady very cheerful , friendly and welcoming. Had a great nights sleep, wish all motels were as nice. Will definitely stay again when next in Tamworth.
Lots of room, with a car spot outside the door. Our unit was set back from the main road and so was quiet (some apartments are closer to the road) Very convenient location with just a short walk over the river to the town centre.
Fully furnished kitchen (including oven) plus a large fridge.
Rooms are very nice with a really comfortable king size bed. Awesome Asian restaurant attached to the property. You also get a great cooked or light breakfast included. Great value for money and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend this motel
Amazing hotel. Very clean rooms and maintained grounds. Lovely location, not too far from town. We loved the Italian restaurant and had a fantastic dinner.
Huge tv in room. Beds were comfortable.
Could not fault our stay!
The Mercure was situated in a very quiet location in Tamworth. The room was quite spacious and exceptionally clean. Very impressed with the hairdryer provided (not the usual low powered rubbish that many hotels provide)
The location in a rural setting just 2 km from Tamworth's town centre was, well, peaceful. The cabin was comfortable and beautifully appointed. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.
I stay at the Golden Guitar frequently and it is very good every time. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and well appointed and the location is prefect next to the pub.
A good location close to central Tamworth, and at a good price. Staff in particular were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would gladly stay here again.
