From the glitz and glamour of the Star City Casino and trendy King Street Wharf in Darling Harbour to the waves of the Northern beaches, Sydney is full of great restaurants, bars and shopping.
Sail under the iconic Harbour Bridge on a ferry and take in a world class performance at the Sydney Opera House. Circular Quay is also home to the exquisite waterside Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Sydney Tower is the highest point on the skyline and offers a restaurant with panoramic views.
Whether it's the quirky King Street in Newtown or the elegance of the Woollahra, travelling outside of the centre uncovers each suburb's distinct flavour. The famous Bondi Beach is the starting point of a walk along the cliffs to the equally photogenic beaches of Bronte and Cooggee.
Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport is the main gateway to this New South Wales capital, and only a short distance from the city centre. From a dorm bed in King’s Cross to a 5-star, serviced apartment in the central business district, Booking.com will ensure you don’t miss the excitement in this dynamic city down under.
Sydney is a wonderful cosmopolitan city. Great food, good coffee, lots of walking so take comfy shoes, I wouldn't bother with Taranga Zoo, animals in enclosures far too small, a really depressing environment so wished I'd missed that out. Great trip to Manly on Ferry. Nice northern beaches. Opera on the waterfront was superb. Lots to do in Sydney and always busy. Opal cards to get around were brilliant. Public transport is second to none. All in all a great place for a visit. However, booking.com was super hard to get hold of when on arrival in Australia the trip started to unravel with no driver to collect us from airport and when we did finally get to our accommodation under our own steam, the accommodation was abysmal and ruined our entire trip being subjected to the rude lazy staff at veriu camperdown coupled with the issue of getting hold of anyone in booking.com to help sort it out. Once they have taken your funds about a week prior to arrival its too late. No one is interested after that. Felt helpless. A horrible experience that I'd never want to repeat. Will never book with booking.com again. Too risky for service.

We took our grandchildren to the Australian Museum which was wonderful
Then the next day to the aquarium which was also great, however, very expensive, for two children and two concessions $170, was abit over the top alot of families would not have been able to afford this and would miss out 😔

Weather was horrid drizzle and cold wind.
Weather was horrid drizzle and cold wind. Never felt 100% safe on the street. Museum Ramses 2 great (do the VR) Outdoor theatre was magnificent with Opera house , bridge and city scape in the background. Had a horrible experience when leaving airport security confiscated a electronic lighter that was a gift left a very sour taste in my mouth about travel to Sydney. Other than that lots to see and do, easy enough to get around, food was good and accommodation ok.

Sydney in March/April is such a beautiful time to visit. Get around by ferries, walk around Barangaroo, and visit Bennie the Sydney Opera House seal who comes to sit on the steps each day.
A visit to Sydney should not be without a coastal walk from Bronte to Bondi (and back again), stopping for lunch at Bondi Ice Bergs. Public Transport is easy and affordable, however, I try to avoid the trains as they didnt feel very safe.
Highlight restaurant was Penelopes at Circular Quay

City transport (trains, buses and ferries) is very efficient and having an Opal card facilitates travelling and minimises cost. If you are a senior, make sure to obtain a gold card for the significant savings they offer.
Plenty of great eateries and pubs to choose from and prices generally in line with out of state venues (eg Tasmania).
Plenty of entertainment options on offer for all ages.
Take a comfortable pair of walking shoes!
Hotel is a nice combination of old and new decor, classy. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. In a good central location within CBD, lots of activities close by and quality restaurants in vicinity. Breakfast until 11am which I liked as I'm not a "morning" person (some hotels I've stayed in previously stopped breakfast at 9:30am forcing an early rise and rushed shower etc to make it in time to eat). I'm a wheelchair user, "easy access" room was spacious and well designed.
This was our second stay at the Moxy, this time prior to an early flight the next day. We think this is the best of all of the airport hotels, and certainly nowhere near the most expensive. It's got great public spaces, a really pleasant bar and the food at the restaurant is good pub/bistro quality - just what you need for a pleasant evening before a flight the next day. We'll probably stay at the Moxy quite regularly - it's fantastic value for money.
Beautiful room, great layout, very spacious and lovely decor. Very comfortable stay. Excellent value for money considering surrounding hotels with similar pricing at almost half the size with limited facilities. Being able to order room service easily from the iPad from surrounding Merivale venues was fantastic. Welcoming staff and very quick and efficient checkout. One of the better hotels in Sydney CBD, will definitely be back.
The location was perfect, not only to be right in the heart if Sydney but easy access to Central train station made this an even better pre-flight stay than any of the Airport hotels. The room was way bigger than we imagined with plenty of space to both work, sprawl out our luggage and relax. And as weird as it was to walk right off the elevator directly into the gym, it was really great to have that access.
Location .. excellent close to hard and light rail
Right in the heart of the CBD retail shopping district theatres and cinemas
The hotels continental breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced
Their Ten Stories Restaurant has an excellent menu and well worth a reservation …
Our room was on the 13th floor and faced Pitt Street mall … never heard a sound
We liked everything about this hotel
The hotel is located close to the airport and easily accessible with the local bus (either to the airport or to a train station that connected to the city center). The staff was friendly and while I was not able to check in early, the hotel has lockers to put bags securely away. The room was clean and spacious - definitely fit my needs. If coming back to Sydney, I'd stay there again.
We never stayed here. Booking was confirmed and they never replied to us about meeting us with a key. We tried all afternoon, once we arrived in Sydney and we even waited at the apartment with no contact from the number supplied for the booking. Leaving us having to find accommodation elsewhere at 10pm on a Friday night.
I loved the art deco style of the hotel. It was stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a good size. The location in the CBD was perfect because we were in between two train stations that were walking distance, close to darling harbour and shopping mall.
Reasonably priced compared to many airport hotels. Good location located half way between domestic and international airport. Also the shuttle to the airport was a good price, ran regularly and although not owned by the hotel provided a great service.
The staff are so super friendly, very kind and accommodating! They kept our baggage both before checking in and after checking out. If you like quaint looking hotels with convenience of being close to the CBD, I’d recommend staying!
The view was amazing and the location was so easy, train from airport -to hotel was so easy.
facilities and food were great and staff were very helpful.
Can't fault the place and will be returning for all future Nth Sydney trips
Hotel at attractice price incl breakfast close to airport and 15min walking distance to Mascot station which brings you to CBD in a few minutes.
Note Hotel Inn Express is not Hotel Inn Airport even closer to Mascot station.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the CBD and I think the Grace has gone to no 1 on my list. Tastefully decorated, lovely comfy bed. Very happy with my complimentary drinks in the fridge (non alcoholic). 10 out of 10
Great place at this price point, rooms are a little small, but that's not unusual for hotels in Sydney CBD. Clean, staff were very helpful. Great access to the center of Sydney, close to tram lines, etc.
Very close to Sydney Airport and Central Station. A convenience store and a supermarket near this hotel. Good restaurant, clean room, comfortable bed, and very friendly staff.
Proximity to airport was key for us. We got into Sydney late and this hotel was a 20 minute walk from domestic terminal. Room was clean and staff friendly.
