Pemberton is a lovely place for a holiday.

Pemberton is a lovely place for a holiday. The forests are magnificent. Unfortunately this year there has been almost no rain so the creeks, waterfalls and rivers were not flowing. Dinner at the Sports Club was fabulous and very reasonable.

Great cafe nearby - Wild at Heart. IGA there and a couple of bakeries. Best restaurant around - Jaspers. Great outdoor activities - bike riding, walking trails. Easy access to others towns and wineries. Plenty to do.

Pemberton is a beautiful place to spend a holiday, the green forests and the nature are a great escape from a city life. There are plenty of activities on offer, including the new aerial adventure near the Gloucester tree. It is not far from Nannup or Manjimup or even Walpole. Good place to stay especially in the summer month to cool down.

Pemberton is picturesque; the marri trees in full bloom are a glorious sight. The railway ride is good fun. The Southern Forests Chocolate Co. actually makes its own chocolate (unlike Margaret River, which makes its chocolates from imported European chocolate). The grandchildren loved the swimming pool and thought that the adventure course at the Gloucester tree was "amazing."

The old homes and businesses are in great condition and serve as a reminder of times past. We enjoyed a meal at the big Pemberton Hotel, a classic of its era. Many beautiful natural places to visit, from forests to waterfalls to rugged coast.

For an old building it is kept very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is useful having the cafe and bar on site as there are not many dining options in pemberton and the bar area has a lot of character. Aircon worked well too which was great. It's a good location for the local forest areas - cascades, beedelup falls and the big brook dam beach are all worth a look, even when water levels make the falls less exciting.

Twin share room and facilities were big enough and suited overnight accommodation needs for 2. Dated but clean and totally fine for purpose. Staff all seemed great. Food was good. Didn’t see a lot of other ready options open down the Main Street on the night we were there. Continental breakfast seemed overpriced for what you get and better off just getting them to cook you something.

I was happy the accommodation provided breakfast necessities, which doesn't happen at other accommodation spots. The lake view was amazing especially in the morning with the fog sitting on top. Also would be an incredible spot for winter with the electric fire place. Wasn't expecting the Chalet to be so spacious.

The villa was very clean and well laid out. The beds were comfortable and we made the most of the Webber bbq situated under the roomy veranda. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We will most definitely book the next time we are in the Pemberton region again.
