Elvis festival is a must! Nothing but joy, happiness, all around! All guest were so happy participating in the Elvis festival! Music everywhere. Need more vegetarian food. Too much SOS. Salt, oil, sugar in food! Make it healthier. Only Baked potato was healthy choice.

There's lots to do in and around Parkes.
There's lots to do in and around Parkes. Great places to visit are Peak Hill mine, CSIRO - Parkes Observatory (The Dish), Marcelle's Patchwork Cottage, good pub food in most hotels, Bella's restaurant, Roasted Kombi cafe, Elvis festival in January and all things Elvis at other times.

I am very biased about Parkes.
I am very biased about Parkes. I was born there and attended school there. I enjoyed the childhood memories I experienced but also how much it has advanced over the years. It seems to me that there must be a good council in action.

Parkes is definitely worth a quick stop over to see the Dish...
Parkes is definitely worth a quick stop over to see the Dish and the town like all rural NSW towns is perfectly pleasant, but its not really a "destination in its own right" - its somewhere to go if you are in the area - like a day trip from Bathurst/Mudgee/wine country

Parkes is a lovely country town.
Parkes is a lovely country town. If you like to walk around, it's nice and flat, with a couple of hills if you want to get the heart rate up.
Plenty of places to eat and plenty of shopping (if that's your thing).
Could have easily spent a week at Parkes.

Parkes is a great stopover on the Newell Highway.
Parkes is a great stopover on the Newell Highway. Great dining options, plenty of shopping outlets and lots of attractions close by if you stay a few days. And if you love Elvis, you will love Parkes!!!
We were running behind schedule and not sure we were going to reach the accommodation before the end of check in. I called the property and the fellow who answered my call was reassuring with his nothing is a bother attitude. He arranged for the key to be available and had milk in the fridge for coffee. We arrived at midnight and we're able to walk straight into the room. Much appreciated.
The Court St motel is a great value motel in a great location. Off the main roads in and out of Parkes, it’s quiet and comfortable. It’s easy to duck out for an early morning coffee down the road and to the hotel for an evening meal. We liked the small kitchen area with crockery and cutlery for breakfast prep and making toast. It’s not a fancy motel but its a good motel
The motel is older structure, but it is well appointed with updated fittings and furnishings. The rooms are clean and comfortable, bathroom facilities are well maintained and functional. It's on the northern fringe of Parkes with good off street parking and a central swimming pool. There are also great picnic/hangout areas through the garden.
I was a one night only stayover . I was very impressed. The couple who own the motel were just lovely. Even had a bit of a swim with them.
I had a Queen room.
X1 queen bed
X1 single bed &
A pull out sofa bed. Very impressed. Now while it's not the Savoy. For the price. it was well worth it.
The room was spotless, spacious and quiet, and the beds very comfortable. The hostess was absolutely lovely too. The bathroom was very clean and had the best shower I've used in a hotel in a long time. We had a great night's rest and would definitely stay there again.
My room was extremely clean, the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The big thing that takes this Hotel next level is the Lotus/Biscoff biscuits. The Location was only as short stroll down the hill to the main street & restaurants etc.
Friendly Manager. Very clean, comfortable. Parking at the door
Relatively quiet considering the location.
The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved staying at Moonraker and will do so again if we need to stay in Parkes.
The location and cleanliness of the property. I also liked the size of the room, complimentary water and ease to park. The hotel manager is also very friendly and the contactless check-in and checkout was very convenient.
My room was well presented, clean and quiet, and only 30 steps to the hotel where I enjoyed a cold beer and steak night which was very well priced, the locals were friendly and the staff were very welcoming.
The motel was beautifully comfortable, the facilities were excellent and clean. We will stay again.
Very quiet considering it is on the main highway.
This is the only motel we will stay in in Parkes now :)
The cabin was very comfortable, very spacious very lean, internet was excellent, very quiet. Just a great experience, would recommend this place for a stay when in Parkes.
The Hotel is opposite the station and two blocks from the town centre.
The room was comfortable, recently repainted and the shared bathroom has been renovated.
