Excellent friendly service at check in, convenient location as whilst a few hills it was a lovely 10-15 minute walk into town to the local shops, pubs, town pool and parks.
Room was older and the bathroom was a little sad however all was very clean and we particularly liked the bathroom products that were available as well as tea bags and cookies.

Murwillumbah is a great place to visit.
Murwillumbah is a great place to visit. There is plenty of shops and lots to do there. The River which runs through the town is beautiful. It has a cinema and lots of yummy cafes and restaurants. There are also cute little towns close by to drive to.
This old hotel has just been recently renovated pretty well from the ground up, nothing has been overlooked and the attention to detail whether in your room or downstairs in the Bar/Dining area is second to none.
The meals were fantastic and well priced and the staff were very friendly and keen to help in anyway they could.
The bar served nice cold beer and had all the things that you would expect including TAB/Keno etc once again Kian and the gangs service in this area was faultless.
Fantastic Value and a pleasant surprise. An immaculately clean room that looked as though it has been recently refurbished.
We had a superior queen room that had a kitchenette and a sitting area.
Meals in the bistro were good value with 15 meals at $15 and excellent quality.
The bar staff were friendly and attentive.
Good vibe for old and young, highly recommended and will stay next time we travel through
HInt: it was cheaper by $30 to book online than directly with the hotel
Comfortable clean room.
Outdoor areas are exceptional.
Management & cleaners are exceptional. Our key was left in a lock box and mints were left in our room with AC running and a light on as we were arriving late with children.
New management are doing beautiful things to the place.
This is our first preference for overnight stays in Murwillumbah. And it's the thoughtful staff that make this place worth a stay.
Thank You Murwillumbah Motor Inn.
We stayed in the studio for 3 nights.
The property is in a delightful rural location with views to Mount Warning. You can wander round the grounds and look at the animals and gardens.
A cook-yourself breakfast is supplied with a wide choice of quality ingredients including fresh eggs, local bacon, and fruit.
Just seven minutes from restaurants and shops in Murwillumbah and 30 minutes to the coast at Tweed Heads.
Good location, central to the township. Bistro downstairs offered a good selection of meals and a free beverage for the hotel stay. Nicely renovated bathroom, decent-sized kitchenette which was well stocked but mostly in darkness as the ceiling light is too far away and standing at the kitchenette blocks the light.
Staff were friendly.
Location was good, meals were good. I love this pub as we always go there when we come and to visit our daughter in Murwillumbah.
The rooms were decorated well eg the tiling in the bathroom. I was glad there was a fan as I did feel I needed air at times especially whilst sleeping
Check in time was flexible.
Beautiful breakfast food including exceptional home made marmalade, fresh farm eggs and local bacon, welcome platter, chocolates and fresh fruit.
Great location 5 minutes to lovely Murwillumbah.
Very comfortable all round.
The floods has destroyed so much but we will had to come for a wedding. It was so beautiful to see the community come together in good spirits to support this hotel. Everyone was extremely accommodating and some of the best pub food ever!
Great little motel and amazing location right on the river. We stayed here as it is just 20mins to the Blues Festival and is very close to great cafes and restaurants in Murwillumbah. We have stayed here before and will stay again.
We enjoyed our stay. There were pleasant surprises - a welcome platter and the generous breakfast supplies. The Croft is wonderfully quiet, in a supremely scenic part of the Tweed River and access to Murwillumbah is very simple.
Great value for money including continental breakfast.
loved all the memorabillia in the breakfast room.
Room was very adequate- was great to see it and Murwillumbah up and running after the floods.
We were in Murwillumbah to ride the rail trail. The motel is very close to the trail and was the perfect base for this activity. The room was generously proportioned, comfortable and good value.
Clean room, clean bathroom, clean bedding. Excellent meals and drinks downstairs. Great location in the heart of Murwillumbah. Loved our stay and will come again.
a comfortable room with a great view of Mt Warning/ Wollumbin and and an easy stroll down hill into town. Keith on Murwillumbah St is great for breakfast/ lunch
The Motor Inn is very well placed within Murwillumbah. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
