the artesian springs are a huge drawcard for Moree and pull many visitors each year.Although when we stayed they had been closed for 5 weeks and were not opening until after we left the area. Luckily for us i worked a creative solution which meant we still got the caance to use thr thermal pools.

The Explorers Restaurant is fantastic and rates as five star quality! The room was very basic, not very well equipped, dangerous rise is flooring and you'd be better off sleeping on the floor because the double bed was uncomfortable and outdated!

Moree is a delightful country town, especially the mineral spa baths. Unfortunately, simmering racial tensions continue to divide the community and cause unessessary angst for visitors to the town...

We didn't have alot of time in Moree but it seemed like a lovely little town with plenty of dinner options mid-week. Would definitely recommend if you are travelling and need somewhere to stay the night.

Rooms are overpriced, no restaurant or reception operating, crockery and utensils needed in room, but loved pools, though one day there was no power so pools went cool which was disappointing during my visit 😞 great food in Moree Royal Hotel, Golf Club, services Club and Chinese restaurant all good 👍 easy drive to Moree from Qld

Moree sits on the eastern edge of the Great Artesian Basin so access to hot artesian water is plentiful. The public pool is fed with artesian water but many of the pool facilities are being rebuild (April 2023) so only two pools are available.
I only stayed one night in Moree so no knowledgable comment could be made of the rest of the town.
Nice clean rooms close to the centre we have stayed here a couple of times.
My husband cut his leg quite severely on our car door. The people at the hotel attended to him whilst I was booking in. As I had to take him to the hospital for stitching they looked after and catered for our 18yo granddaughter until we returned a few hours later even offering to take her to dinner. Above and beyond service. A great big Thank you
The ARTESIAN POOLS were grand. Warm to quite hot - we swam twice a day, after lunch and then after dinner. The hotter pool also has a spa at one end which was great. Was very lovely and relaxing. The Motel is within easy walking distance of the town of Moree. Grand walks around the town - wonderful old buildings very well preserved. Lovely park. Certainly worth a visit. The meal in the restaurant was fine too.
They double booked us. So after driving for ten hours that day and arriving at the motel. We were told they were completely booked and didn't book us in the day before when we booked through booking.com, instead they double booked us so we had no where to stay. They called a few motels and luckily we were able to get into one around the corner. Very stressful though and truely not good enough
A very comfortable room, clean and quiet. We arrived with a campervan. The hosts offered us secure parking for the evening and then also offered us the use of their personal car to drive to the local hotel for dinner as it was 37C. We did not take up their generous offer and elected to walk, however we were overwhelmed by their kindness. Thank you.
Spa Village is a close walk to the Artesian baths (100 meters), the room was comfortable and had cool Air Conditioning which was awesome as Moree can get rather hot in late Spring. I like that the Spa Village has a solid perimeter fence around the entire property, it just gives peace of mind for our vehicle.
Having the three pools with different temperature was exceptional. Very relaxing after driving. Used it again in the morning. Had a fantastic T-bone steak at the Royal Hotel in town. Friendly town, top notch service.
Great budget stay for a short visit to Moree. Rooms were clean but compact. Perfect for a short stay and very close to the Artesian Baths that we were visiting. Royal Hotel nearby was fabulous for a feed
The hotel was very accomidating to some changes we needed, they were kind and easy to deal with. Hotel was great for what my client needed. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thankyou.
A bit disappointed that room service was not available on Sunday night but overall we were pleased with our pet friendly room. Spacious and comfortable. Person on reception was very polite and helpful
The rooms have been renovated and a beautifully presented. The beds are comfortable and had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The hotel itself is close to town and very quiet.
