Overrated but capitalist market as prime location and sea beautiful. Accommodation cramped abd tired , grubby surroundings . In area need to go . Good marine life and wonderful unspoilt beaches. Catamaran trip worth it too. . Rather a one off destination

    For kids, it's okay.

For kids, it's okay. However, the cost of the 850km drive from Perth is not commensurate with the facilities. Cervantes is a 100% better place to visit and be in the ocean. As they say, over the blaring megaphone, the dolphins might not turn up. Moreover, people are made to stand at the water's edge and not in the water. There is no touching or interaction with the dolphins. Sea World is more fun and of greater value.

I love the location right in front of the beach and the only accommodation in that area. They also have barbecue facility and shared kitchen with microwave, kettle, stove, fridges. They also have general store so if you want to cook something in the barbee or shared kitchen you can find it there. Snacks, ice cream, water, butter, etc. Also souvenirs. Kettle was rusty inside. Even those in the shared kitchen. So easy to descale them just boil vinegar in it. Can’t even make tea. Housekeeping did not replenish milk & sachet of hot chocolate. $286 per night this is being stingy. On first night after a long drive I just want to shower. But I hate to see sand in the shower area. Obviously it’s not cleaned. The room was run down and they tried to put new fittings. But you can still see rotting skirtings and old grout tiles. The main door, bathroom door, walls, bed head had smudges which obviously nobody paid attention to when cleaning the room. TV never worked always saying network error. Contact number for reception is useless. On our last day check out I approach the reception to give the key. I was told “you know we’re not even open.” Please take note dolphin feeding is not guaranteed. They never come the whole time we stayed. Lucky we went on a boat tour to see dugongs lucky we have seen heaps of dolphins coming to the catamaran.

Love the room and the location and all the facilities.

Love the room and the location and all the facilities. Only thing letting the resort down in my view was the food options. Breakfast great but lunch and dinner options very limited in choice and quality. But don’t let that deter you as the facilities are such you can cook and take your own food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back for sure.

Its a great location, especially for Families, So much more than just looking for the Dolphins.. Staff are lovely and will definitely come back. Only negative, we stayed in the beachfront rooms - Like a Motel room, guests above us .. sooo noisy!.

We loved everything about this place, what's not to love! Dolphins frolicking all day, turtles, crabs and lots of other marine life to see. Emu's all around the resort. With various types of accommodation, there's something for everyone here. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. Great fishing basically on your doorstep and crystle clear water, Monkey Mia is paradise. Don't miss the dolphin experience each morning, the guides are very knowledgeable and the dolphins are adorable!

The whole resort was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and happy. Food in the restaurant was excellent with lots of options available. (We had to wait quite a while for meals to be served). The dolphins and wildlife were just everywhere. I was walking along the beach and dolphins just swam up next to me. We were blessed with perfect weather, so that added to having a great time. Definitely worth the long drive to get there.

We stayed in a garden view villa and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The resort is large with many varied types of accommodation, however, it was not ‘crowded’ and the facilities cater for the number of guests. Spectacular scenery and environment of Monkey Mia makes for a wonderful holiday 😍

We had another brilliant holiday at Monkey Mia, it ticks all the boxes and the location is perfection. We like the options of the restaurant, bar, camp kitchen and BBQs. We enjoy the fishing and of course the dolphin feeding, we were lucky enough to get picked too! Two very happy children.

Loved the location, the restaurants were handy, comfortable bed, the seaview balcony and movies available. It is an awesome base in Monkey Mia, dolphins frequent the bay at any time of the day and right next to Francois National Park. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

This is the only option if you want to stay in Monkey Mia but it was worth it so you're close for the dolphin experience in the morning. Its close to the beach and the restaurant food was delicious! Rooms are basic but comfortable.

The fact that we saw the dolphins on our arrival to the resort. The way there was many different types of accomodation, but it was all brought together in a way that worked.
