Leura is a lovely town with a plethora of eating places within walking distance. The Alexandra Hotel, circa 1908, is a modern bistro setting within a grand dining room and quality al fresco veranda seating as well as classical beer garden furniture in a large grassed area overlooking the railway line and great scenery beyond. The hotel can be reached along a quick track beside the Leura Station which stands at the top of the main street.
A special treat is High Tea at the Teapot Museum (5,000+ teapots) at the other end of the main street.
Opportunities for walks and sightseeing are endless, either by foot or car or the Hop On Hop Off bus. The scenery and feeling of well being due to the natural environment cannot be measured.

Great central location in the Blue Mountains.
Great central location in the Blue Mountains. Peaceful little village that had everything, but without the hustle of a city, or even Katoomba. Only 8 minutes from the 3 sisters, scenic world, Minnie haha falls etc.
Fantastic places to eat, right near Spires Accommodation.

OMG what a beautiful little town.
OMG what a beautiful little town. The main street is packed with beautiful artisan shops and cafes (cafes most closed by 3pm but there is an exceptional one there offering loads of yummy stuff for you or gifts for others). Close to many tourist attractions too. LOVE LUEURA.

Great for a break from the kids.
Great for a break from the kids. Not too long a drive from Sydney. Good roads and accomodation, lovely people. A lot of great eateries, bakeries and cafes. Good to shop for locally produced goods or to look through antique stores. Try to book when there are weekend markets anywhere between Glenbrook and Blackheath. Especially good if the Leura Fair is on that weekend. Our go to place for a short break.

The accomodation was excellent.
The accomodation was excellent. It’s family friendly and a lot of facilities for kids to enjoy such as, ice skating, kid’s amusement, basketball, tennis court, heated pool , outdoor pool, pony rides, cinema and many more and very nice view
The staff members were amazing - all of them have been very welcoming and helpful. Our room was highly spacious and comfortable. The hotel’s restaurants and breakfast buffet offered stunning views of the Jamison Valley. The restaurant food was delicious and the service was great. The hotel’s numerous facilities were also visually pleasing even though we haven’t utilised some of them. Overall, we had a good experience and this hotel tops our list of the several hotels we visited in Leura and surrounding areas.
I loved how spacious the room was; I felt like I was in a 5 star suite. The bed was huge and felt luxurious. I especially loved the interior design and I felt like a Victorian countess. The paintings were beautiful, the view lovely - and that couch was the cherry on top. I was surprised by how clean the place was - not even a speck on the wooden frames or the fireplace - very well maintained heritage house. Great value for price.
Location was perfect for our plans. Not as attractive as advertised, breakfast was less than mediocre. Service was less than mediocre. It took the server 45 minutes to lay out a routine, cold breakfast, which should have been laid out at the start of breakfast time.
Ideal location for our travels, clean room, don’t bother with breakfast. There are other places in Leura to enjoy a better meal.
House was very clean, it has everything you need for a nice stay. It was spacious, quiet, warm and cozy, had all amenities and located in a great spot that's 5 min walk from Leura center and the trains if you want to hop on to Katoomba or the other little towns. It has also fast Wi-Fi connection so we were able to do some work too. It's a great place to stay and unwind from the city noise.
The room was spacious, The breakfast at the Olive restaurant was good and the staff were efficient and Friendly. Gardens are very nice , pleasant surrounding Area. Golf course close by if your a golfer . Sublime lookout 2.5 klms from Hotel.
Good size room with all that you expect in this type of hotel. Everything was clean and it all worked. Great location next to the Golf Course. Good to see that they are working on improvements i.e the ice skating rink.
Online photos true to actual property, (except BBQ not functional). Clean and cosy with easy access. Gas heater nice and warm. Spacious living and dining space with great outside area. Close drive to Leura shops.
Fantastic property to explore Leura and Katoomba. Perfect for a couple. Comfy double bed in the bedroom. Nicely kitted our kitchen and living room space and a very nice bathroom including a washer and dryer.
It was a very sweet home, with beautiful gardens. Good location as it is just a couple minutes drive to Leura mall. The beds were nice with electric blankets and linen was all fresh.
Absolutely loved this cottage. It was cosy with the open fire and gas log fire, 4 poster bed and spa bath. Location was close to the sights and Leura & Katoomba.
A beautiful clean and cosy boutique hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. I will definitely be back again ◡̈
Great place which is well equipped and clean.
Location is in walking distance to Leura shops which is great if you want to have a few wines with dinner 😊
