I live in Gold Coast Hinterland. We like to stay a couple of nights, every couple of months, as it discounts the parking headaches when we want to visit our chosen restaurants. We don't worry about having a drink as we don't have to drive home.

Just love the beaches, & plenty to do if you want to drive.

The gold coast is my home away from home, but i must admitt, Surfers paradise itself really needs to have a face lift. It really has lost its uniqueness, & the great vibe it use to have.

Apart from all of the necessary road works.
Apart from all of the necessary road works. We love Broadbeach. This has everything we needed. Pacific fair, trams and Seaworld. Surfer's paradise is definitely not appealing. It is dirty and tired. We ventured out to Tamborine Mountain and other areas. Get out into nature. St Bernards Hotel is wonderful!

The location and scenery was fantastic, but it was quite noisy from the waves continuous noise. There was no double glazed windows or doors and I had no Aircon so we had to have the doors open at night. The ceiling fans that work real well.

We stayed here for the Gold Coast Marathon weekend and it was the perfect choice for us. Its a quiet hotel ( a bonus when you need to go to bed early to get up early!) with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was large, clean, with a really comfortable bed. It had a balcony with a nice view as well. We chose this place partly for it's location as we didn't want to be too close to surfers paradise but also wanted to be close enough to walk. The tram out the front was really convenient and there's some great places to eat nearby.
Everything. This is ultimate luxury. The lobby is luxurious, the staff are very professional, informative, well trained and helpful. The rooms are brand new. Beds are comfy, wifi fast, the views are insane. Bathroom is very clean, modern, all amenities provided. The infinity pool is amazing, feels like a beach club in bali overlooking the casino and broadbeach skyline. It is right next to the Star Casino and Pacific Fair mall. You can get the 777 bus directly from Coolangatta airport to the tram stop right outside the hotel.
We flew in from Melbourne. The hotel is literally about a 3 minute walk from Gold Coast airport concourse in Bilinga. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean, the room and bed were comfortable, and had a large bathroom. We checked out for 1 night for the trip to Australia Zoo which was about 2 hours away. We returned to Rydges after 1 nt in another lodging near the zoo because we had an early morning flight to Queenstown NZ the next day. We checked out and were in the airport within 3 minutes walking.
Location is great. The Gold Coast is perhaps the most overrated destination in Australia, but popular with some domestic tourists. This results in high costs which don't equate with the other countries. So forgetting that for a moment, the facilities were fine to a point, a tram ride away from Surfer's Paradise and near cheap and mid range food options. The hotel/bar is very cosy and friendly. It's a slice of Australiana in an otherwise gaudy destination.
look it's your basic no frills budget motel on the Gold Coast... if you attending dream-world you could walk to it ... movie world and wet & wild are not far away short drive.. plenty of beds in the room and ok size..has a pool... so if you only want a cheap motel ..perfect .. there is a great tavern not far away boathouse ..good meals and a Westfield not far away either
Great service from all staff and room was beautiful. We even had a little grass terrace with a view of the broad water off our room which was fantastic for the kids. Staff went above and beyond to keep our young toddlers happy. Buffet breakfast was so good, one of the best we’ve had at any 5 star hotels. Breakfast staff were also fantastic and helpful. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed every bit of the property. We are a family
Who go away a lot but usually stay at a hotel, however will choose big 4 Gold Coast any day.
We have also stayed at other big 4 SA, Coffs Harbour and NSW the Gold Coast is by far the best one yet.
We have already booked our next stay for January along with my sister and her family.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. We had an incredible view and it was so lux!!! Everything was incredible. It really should be a 5 start hotel! Will definitely be back. Great that it's close to the star with all the restaurants and just across the street was the high street of broadbeach. Staff at the hotel was so friendly.
The room is sizable and comfy. I stayed on the hinterland side which had beautiful views of the Broadbeach Waters canals and Gold Coast hinterland. The hotel has many options for dining which is great - highly recommend the breakfast package at Nineteen which is the same price as the buffet but 100 times better.
Traveling to Gold Coast was first time for my family and I, we had a great time in Peninsular 21b. The property was vey clean and comfortable, the location absolutely close to the Surface Paradise street. Thanks Nigel
The view and hotel was great so Convenient we had a great time and enjoyed the facilities the kids loved it the tram was close the beach was close and lots to do with a lot of great family moments
A really nice family hotel with everything necessary nearby. Busy and lots of activities for families to do. Highly recommend this hotel and we always come back when we travel to the Gold Coast.
Great location and only a short walk to the beach and also having Coles supermarket opposite was very handy. The carpark across the road, is actually a lot cheaper than the hotel carpark.
The accommodation was fantastic and as described when booking the room. We would definitely recommend this two bedroom apartment for a family stay at the Gold Coast.
The location of the hotel to the theme parks is great. The staff that were there and available are lovely and doing their best.
Cheap hotel and nice location.
Great Location, cheap and cheerful hotel. Your get what you pay for everything was ok and good value for the money our room could do with a new couch really
