Coppers Hill Private Accommodation, hotel in Gloucester

Coppers Hill Private Accommodation is located in Gloucester. Each room here will provide you with a flat-screen tv, air conditioning and an electric kettle.

The location was convenient and quiet, and was located across the road from the police station and court house (guessing why it's called Coppers Hill). The twin beds were very comfortable and the bed linen was top notch. Bathroom toiletries were generous and good brands. Generous choice of coffee bags and tea bags. There were two bottles of water and some biscuits, and two chocolates on each bed which was a lovely touch. There was also a supply of crockery and cutlery, toaster and kettle. The wifi was fast and consistent. There is no on-site reception and access is via a key code which is texted just before the arrival time of 2pm.

Barrington Riverside Cottages, hotel in Gloucester

We loved the location and the beautiful river at our backyard. It was beautiful but we found it quite expensive for what it was.

As soon as we set foot in the place we were welcomed by the very friendly hosts, their dog and an abundant of friendly lorikeets. The breakfasts were 5 star. The bed was so comfortable, and being able to choose your pillow was an added bonus. The multiple areas to have a firepit, relax, cook your own food meant you didn't need to be anywhere else. Copeland house was close enough to explore the Barrington tops areas without having to drive too far away.

River's Edge at The White House on Bowman, hotel in Gloucester

River's Edge at The White House on Bowman is situated in Barrington.

What a beautiful stay! I was not expecting to have a beautiful river view, it exceeded expectations and was the most peaceful place. We saw chickens ducks and kangaroos and had a fire and played the games that were provided. Highly recommend playing “go low” card game just don’t drink as much wine as we did otherwise it gets a bit tricky. Gorgeous stay, super comfy and cosy, you can cook really anything using the facilities provided to. Love it and will be staying again!

Such a beautiful home and so well equipped - has all the kitchen gadgets and equipment to make staying with kids or a bigger group super easy. We were only there for a night and still felt to comfy and looked after.

The Woll on Kerripit, hotel in Gloucester

The Woll on Kerripit is set in Barrington and offers barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

We knew the views would blow us away.... and they really did. They are truly exceptional and vary through the day. We absolutely loved staying here. The gauze screens on all the doors meant we could go to sleep with doors open listening to the river, crickets and bird-life. And the cows from time to time too, of course. A wallabi visited at dusk one evening and we saw many from afar. One bedroom is off the veranda with no other connection to the bathrooms or rest of the house, no real hardship but worth pointing out. This traditional farm house has everything you need. We drove to Barrington Tops for walks in the national park.

Very picturesque town, located at a 3 hour drive from Sydney. There were limited options for lunch/dinner, but again it is a small town so I wouldn't expect anything different. The coffee we tried was perfect, though. I would suggest coming here in late Autumn to get the best views.

A very small but lovely town.

A very small but lovely town. A shame one hotel has closed down but the only other hotel was good. The Chinese restaurant inside the soldiers club was absolutely superb. The meal was fantastic and plenty of it. The only downside was the information centre saying it would be no problem driving into the mountain areas, but it was a problem because we had a small car. Overall it was a great two days.

The central location made it idea for grabbing a coffee at the Three Little Pigs Cage and an evening meal at the Bowling Club across the road. Lovely walking tracks very handy as well, while Barney at the Tourist Info centre was also very helpful.

Good walking trails close by. Friendly towns folk. Barrington Tops fabulous but at the time of our stay limited access due to recent weather events which closed the road beyond the lookout. 4WD vehicle a must to even get to the lookout. Tourist Information Centre VERY helpful and accurate in the information provided.

It’s a lovely quiet country town, a detour off the New England Hwy. it has good walking and cycling paths along the river. Afterwards don’t miss Apsley Falls en route to Walcha & Armidale. We ate at the Roundabout Hotel. Fantastic steaks!

Unlike other motels we stopped at who seem to think that despite the rate charged they have no need to make beds or take away waste no matter how many days you stay the Gloucester motel did all that every day. They gave excellent service and also provided items other motels didn't such as hair dryers, a chair to sit on, a clock radio etc. The staff were very helpful too

Great location at the top of the Gloucester main street. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, easy to contact and available. The rooms were very clean and tidy, bathroom appeared to have been fairly recently re-tiled. Overall exceptional value for money. Some great cafe's in town as well, including The Common and Roadies, both within easy walking distance.

The cottage was truly a home away from home - everything you needed to stay comfortably for awhile. The outlook was pleasant , the beds comfy and the heating fantastic. There were many great bushwalks closeby and Gloucester is a lovely town with lots of great cafes. We also loved trying to pat the cows.

It was in a great location only a few minutes from the Hotel and restaurants, our unit was spotlessly clean and had a few extra goodies which we enjoyed, I would have no hesitation in recommding coppers hill as the ideal place to stay in Gloucester.
