Edan is a very friendly place to stay without having the hype regarding snobbery. Very down to earth and has a lot to offer in a most entertainment, sporting, family orientated town Most people will find great options in accommodation that will fit all types of budgets. I believe Edan is the hidden gem of the NSW Coastline but too many people overlook it in return for all the other so called cool and trendy options with unrealistic expectations.

This place is completely run down, everything old and worn out. Prices are high, our room was crawling with ants and the dust and cobwebs were built up for some time. Do not stay here! Period. It’s a pity as Eden is a gem of a town

Despite its ugly whaling history and forestry Eden is is a lovely place and at the other end of the nature scale from urban jungles. We spotted Skippy, Joey, Wally, lots of parrots and sea eagles, possums on the roof at night as well as a metre long goanna near Ben Boyd's 'lighthouse'.
Eden's main beach is a the stuff of postcards.
Townsfolk have done a great job with the whaling museum and most of needs were met by local retailers.
For those into creative expression, Eden's jetty / port with its tug boats provides some great material.

The Seahorse resteraunt we went to on the nigh of our anniversary made us feel real special. The Chinese resteraunt we went to on night 1 was delicious, the whale museum absolutely fascinating.
JUST LIKE A GOOD OLD FASHIONED TOWN. WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK.
We had trouble, thinking the code sent on booking.com was for the KeyLock. No check your email for the KeyLock code. Kevin was very quick at calling us back after leaving a message.
Location is great, have front view of the beach and privacy from the street with hedge bushy trees. Table and chairs are provided out front, great for smokers. Photos accurately represent the unit and the lovely sites to visit in Eden and surrounds. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
The location of Eden gateway holiday park is great. Only 1.8 km from the city centre, it's close to everything such as, the Killer Whale museum (a must see attraction in Eden NSW). Restaurants, eateries, supermarkets, service stations etc are all located closeby. The staff are very good & helpful too. It's also a peaceful, quiet location.
Whales fisher hotel is a nice place to be. The lady in charge of it is grateful sympathetic and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Eden and especially at this location. The view from the balcony was gorgeous.
Eden is plenty of attractive places in the city itself and in the surrounding. We would have like to stay longer.
Nice little holiday park, well maintained and clean facilities. Kids loved the jumping pillow and playground. Cabins were clean and well maintained. Above all, Julie went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival. It's always a pleasure to come to Eden Gateway and we wished we'd stay longer !
Great value super cute motel with friendly owners in a very good location. And they're pet friendly! Pool is very refreshing after a long day in the car, and as a quick stroll to the boardwalk by the lake. Also, the tiles in the bathrooms are a thing of wonder 😃
Solid 3 star old fashion Hotel. We had a room on 2nd floor overlooking bay with great views. Walkable to Eden's attractions and restaurants. Manager was friendly. Room and bathroom were large and very clean. and quiet location. Economical priced.
The location of the Hotel Australasia being Eden is beautiful. The location of the hotel in the main street is good everything was in close walking distance. The renovations and refurbishment to the hotel are stunning, the hotel looks exquisite.

Lovely old hotel. Room was great; clean, comfortable & warm (it was late autumn). Loved the shower.
Staff were friendly. Close to many restaurants & pubs. Some good walks from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Room was larger than expected and private and beautifully appointed. Our dinner and cocktails at the hotel restaurant was delicious! Location was perfect for our half way point along drive from Melbourne to Sydney.
Good sized room with good internet, had king size bed which was nice. Free parking just outside room. Across the street is large grocery store and eateries. Beautiful beach at Eden within short walk.
Modern and well appointed room. The most comfortable bed (5 star quality!) and pet friendly. Wonderful staff who provided excellent recommendations for pet friendly dining options in Eden.
It's difficult to find pet friendly accommodation when travelling and at only $8 per night extra it's a much better deal than many places. Recently renovated, the shower is great.
Clean cabins, great staff. Lovely location, 5 mins into town. Short stroll to the beach, kids equipment and pool etc on site. Did I mention the great staff?!
