The food and drinks that we ordered were served to our satisfaction.
But the room and utilities did not meet my expectations as they look old and rundown. I honestly believed that our booking was totally overpriced.
Thank goodness to the beautiful beaches surrounding Coffs Harbour, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great family trip. Lots of things to do at sapphire beach. Mini putt putt, basketball court, riding bikes, playing in the park, walking along the beach, games room! Was a fantastic family getaway.. we'll be back next year. Just need to find a good family restaurant.

The accommodation was absolutely filthy.
The accommodation was absolutely filthy. The room was smelly as soon as we opened the door. There was dust on the furniture which had been written on. ie. we were here!! The bed was filthy. There was no carpet on the floor. The balcony had wood rot and could be very dangerous. From car to steps leading to room was very dangerous and had not been cleaned up for use by people staying in the motel. I will never stay in Coffs Harbour again. It was $267 per night as there was a Football Carnival on and we had no idea this would fill all the motels in Coffs Harbour. One hotel was charging $500 per night and it was right on the highway. Never, ever stop at the Big Banana Accommodation. Unfortunately my husband is 81 and we felt we could not drive to the next town. Next time it will be worth sleeping on the side of the road in our car. That's how bad the accommodation was.

Old, expensive, boring.
Would never return unless I had to.
Found a nice restaurant down on Coffs Harbour Jetty for dinner, that seemed classier enough to accomodate our needs.

Lots of activities to do and enjoy the beaches and marine life. The ex servicemen club was great place for dining and entertainment. Plenty of choices for food in other venues as well.

Coffs Harbour is a nice town to holiday in with good beaches and trips into the mountains within easy reach. There are good cafes in the small shopping centre near the Jetty. There is a good variety of shops, with most of the brand names represented. Great for lovers of seafood.
The resort is right on the beach and its grounds are kept beautifully. My upgrade to a deluxe hotel room was essential for a 9 night stay. The swimming pool was imaginatively designed and deeper than most. Loved regular visits from water dragons and bush turkeys. A car is necessary as there is no public transport to the resort. Valla Beach, Urunga and Bellingen are an easy drive away, as are Sapphire and Emerald Beaches. The Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit.
The manager was fantastic and did everything to make us feel at home. Facilities were as good as one might expect from a 3 star hotel. This means those expecting 5 star quality will be disappointed, but those who've stayed in 3 star budget hotels before will find it very good.
Despite some tired amenities, it appears the owner is renewing items as and when he can, eg new ceiling light in our bathroom.
In our trip to Australia we had many hotels, rooms, lodges ..etc for us the best of all is without contest the room we had at jetty B&B, first we received a worm welcome and clear explanations about the room and what to do in Coffs Harbour, the bed was very comfortable, the morning you get a nice breakfast (Espresso on the patio with a nice view) everything you need to start a new day with a smile.
We traveled from Melbourne to Brisbane a couple of months ago staying at several locations on the way and return.
This was by far the best Motel we stayed in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the beds comfy. One of the things that seem to let motels down is the cleanliness of their Air Conditioners. This was not the case for this Place. 5 Stars!
I liked how we were greeted so kindly, given a tour of our hotel and explained everything we needed to know and even the quick answer to our phone call. We were also provided tea and coffee always a fantastic bonus.
Resort is lovely to walk around its well maintained.
It's a great location to Coffs harbour shopping centre and the beach.
Room was nice and bed very comfy. Lovely view from balcony lots of birds.
Although cheap, we wished we'd paid more and stayed somewhere else as the duff , duff pub next door played until late( 2am) The staff cleared the bottles until 3am. Admittedly, it was Saturday night.
Excellent apartment. Best building in Coffs Harbour. Fantastic Views , spacious and confortable. We stayed at the ocean view apartment on the 12th floor. Recommend this apartment. Secure parking.
Location was great. Nice view of the ocean. The local restaurant served great meals and the staff were excellent. Very clean and tidy apartments. Definitely worth a second visit.
