I’ve watched Byron change over the last thirty years and am pleased to see that it still retains remnants of its surfing/hippie culture (not enough for me but some nonetheless) I’m not a fan of the glossy influencer elements that have commercialised the town and made it inaccessible to some people BUT the natural beauty and sacredness of the location will always have my heart 🌈💕🌊 Best coffee ever!

It was our first time to Byron.
It was our first time to Byron. We loved the friendly welcoming nature of the locals, the diversity of the travellers and the cleanliness of the town. The restaurants and pubs had something for everyone, ample shopping options and great cafes. the beach was always pristine and clean.
Beyond Byron we explored Lismore, Bangalow, Teven and Nimbin and loved everywhere we went, with equally welcoming locals.

We ate at Bang Bang, modern Asian the first night beautiful setting, the best red duck curry we have ever had and fantastic service.
There are a lot of Mexican, Asian and Japanese restaurants but something to suit everyone.
We ate at Three Blue Ducks which was dissapointing and expensive.

Only stayed two nights, perhaps enough for elderly couple.
Only stayed two nights, perhaps enough for elderly couple. Good local shops, had reasonable meal at the Services Club.
Nearly Xmas so very busy in town and on the beaches.
Hard to park car , but walking around local shops easy.
Glen Villa Caravan Park good location, and easy walk into town,
albeit a bit expensive for our cabin.
Great location, minutes from town. Woolworths, fish shops, all night cake shop, all the surf brands, cafes right on the door step ( practically). Now has a large freeway running adjacent to the property which wasn't the case when I use to stay here but, you don't hear it. The reception staff are always helpful and obliging. The cabins are equipped with tv, microwave, cook tops some pans etc. I was able to check in early which was SOOOO much appreciated as I wasn't well ( travel sickness) after a bus trip down from Byron Bay.
We stayed in The Loft at Barbara’s Guesthouse and it was a very comfortable stay! Even though it is listed as a guesthouse with shared communal space, The Loft has a separate entry which allows for privacy. It is conveniently located in Byron Bay city centre. It is also well equipped with basic amenities and even had some local Byron Bay snacks prepared for us which was a wonderful touch! Beautiful styling and furniture which fit perfectly with the summer beach vibes. Would recommend!
The apartment was large and spacious with 2 bathrooms. We loved the location, directly opposite the beach and walkable to town and the lighthouse (you can't see the beach because of trees).
We enjoyed barbecues on the balcony. Having a washing machine was handy and parking in the garage below. There was plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangars.
Not cheap but good value when comparing size of property and location with similar places in Byron.
Very good Motel. Close to the beach and walking distance to Byron Bay shops. Our room was larger than expected and very clean. There was a microwave, sufficient crockery, cutlery etc so that we could have a few meals in, without having to go out. It also was surprisingly quiet, even though on main road. We were a little late checking in, however reception staff ensured that we had access to our key - thank you 😃.
Great park with superb facilities to entertain everyone - various little lakes, a creek to walk along or sit next to, swimming pools, water parks, an entertainment area and only a short drive to Byron Bay and the walk from Wattogo Beach to the Lighthouse.
Cabins good with the ability to separate the two sleeping areas with doors from one another. A good size cabin for a family with one or two children.
The Aloha Byron Bay was a dream t stay at. the staff were super friendly and accommodating, allowing us a super early check in. The room was spacious, clean, cool and comfortable. The help yourself breakfast was also so handy for check out day. Would definitely stay again.
The location is terrific, surrounded with by a lush garden filled with Water Dragons and Bush Turkeys. The room was an eclectic mix of old and new, Bali and Byron Bay. It was different, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Ideal for those who love to mix it up a little.
Hostel is located a short walk from the heart of Byron Bay, which makes it a lot quieter, but also a bit of a hike to get anywhere. Hostel grounds are nice, with an access track to a secluded part of the beach.
Rooms are decently sized, and beds are comfortable.
Harvey's was a fantastic place to stay. The house was bigger than expected, with a sizeable kitchen and ample living room space for 8. We used the outdoor furniture and BBQ alot, whilst also being tremendously convenient to get to the bustling hub of Byron Bay.
The reception staff and cleaners were polite the whole time and I genuinely am not directing any negative parts of my review at them. I take my hat off to them and genuinely think that they would be just as capable of working in their roles at a 5 star hotel.
Loved our stay , the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible . It’s a great convenient hotel to discover Byron bay. Surf boards and bike rentals provided free of charge which came in handy.
Incredible suites in the nicest part of Byron. Even better than a 5 star hotel, has everything you need, the beach was right at our feet, and incredible hosts with insane attention to detail. Could not recommend more highly!
Just as represented in pictures. Clean, comfortable. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. This is not a fancy hotel but a comfortable and well maintained guesthouse. Nice patio and small living room to hang out.
beautiful guest house. Fresh brownies. great shared common area, very open and inviting. our room was spacious. Laura was very helpful before and during our stay with dinner recommendations. check in and out very easy
Location was amazing. Loved the rooftop bar and the activities put on nightly and the welcome drink was a nice touch. Lots of space in the common areas to hang around. Appreciated the cheap and secure parking as well.
Bed was fine, location was awesome. I particularly liked the very trendy cafes directly opposite the hotel. I tried them all, and they were all very nice ! Staff were helpful and nice.
Great location to the beach, walking distance to the Byron Bay Light house and Byron Bay shops. Great size apartment with all the amenities required for a long stay.
Beautiful view on top of a cliff overlooking probably the best beach in Byron Bay! Nice beachy interior and a strong enough AC to keep the sleeping area cold.
The housekeeping is impressive as I own a cleaning business and was impressed as I have a keen eye and the cabins were cosy and being on the lake is calming
