Great location for a stopover from north Qld Coast to Brisbane. Great beach area close to town. Tourist information centre well staffed and attractions in the town easy to get to. Lots of good food locations.

Bagara & Bundaberg are both very pleasant places to stay in. We were only there for a couple of days, and it rained most of the time. We intend to go again, and this time go to Lady Musgrave Island. As our trip had to be cancelled as the weather was bad & it was too rough. There is a lot to see & do around Bundaberg. It's a very nice & friendly place.
Next time we would like to stay for a week if we can.

We traveled to Bundaburg for the Lady Musgrave Island excursion - that was amazing and completely worth the time. However, the town itself is a bit dated/boring - the only thing we really enjoyed were the bats at dusk.

There is so much fresh produce you can buy direct from the farmers. They sell on market place, when you get there they have an honor system. There is the bundaberg distillery, gin factory and if you want a nice meal you could try the Brothers Sports Club also grunskes restaurant they also sell fresh fish best prawns I've tasted in awhile. Also try the old bundy tavern they have great lunches and a cold beer to wash it down 😉

Great little town, very close to Great Barrier Reef (southern tip of the Reef is less crowded and is the best!) experience and boat to the fabulous Lady Musgrave Island.
Plenty of places to eat and shop.
Loved the trees full of colourful yapping birds in the town centre!

Lived in Bundaberg for many years before moving to the Sunshine coast in 2012 but we still come back too see family and friends as is such a beautiful place, though it is quite sad seeing the amount of homelessness there nowadays 😥 .
I have been here for over a year already. and Everything is great. The hostel is very clean and the staff is really helpful and friendly. I have got a lot of good farm jobs and made a lot of money while staying here. Highly recommend for everyone, especially people who want to enjoy their working holiday. and the rent is very cheap compared with other backpackers in Bundaberg. The backpackers has free wifi and laundary which is very fantastic.
3. Plates and cutlery clean and well-presented. Good for eating in-house.
2. Staff provided a menu for the Railway Hotel which was within easy walking distance and which offered a good range of meals. We ate well with a pleasant walk home.
1. Staff considerate of our delayed arrival.
The venue was walking distance to a party we travelled to Bundaberg to attend. The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and spacious. We had a lovely breakfast at a little cafe next door. If we travel to Bundaberg again we would choose to stay at the Burnett Riverside Hotel.
The location was great & easy to find. The staff was very kind & friendly.
We arrived very late at night due to 4 hours delay caused by an accident on the road (Not involving us).
I just wished we had more time to stay at Bundaberg, but this fault is from our side.
The location was convenient to the train which was our mode of transport to Bundaberg. It had room for parking the car we hired. The room was clean and tidy. The fresh milk instead of long life milk was a nice bonus for the morning cuppa.
This was our second time staying at Alexandra apartments and both times have been great. We stayed in this apartment with 4 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of room. Price was very reasonable and staff were exceptionally friendly.
The Bundaberg Spanish Motor Inn is charming and the location is nice and peaceful, while being close to everything. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The gardens are lovely and the rooms are clean and tidy.
The Matilda Motel is located in the heart of Bundaberg CBD, it is very clean and all of the amenities we required were provided. The motel is quiet, the pool is clean and private and the bed was very comfy.
The room and the Hotels location were excellent but the bed was a little too soft for my liking - I am a tall man and found the mattress just a bit soft.
