Great location for a stopover from north Qld Coast to Brisbane. Great beach area close to town. Tourist information centre well staffed and attractions in the town easy to get to. Lots of good food locations.

Bagara & Bundaberg are both very pleasant places to stay in. We were only there for a couple of days, and it rained most of the time. We intend to go again, and this time go to Lady Musgrave Island. As our trip had to be cancelled as the weather was bad & it was too rough. There is a lot to see & do around Bundaberg. It's a very nice & friendly place.
Next time we would like to stay for a week if we can.

We traveled to Bundaburg for the Lady Musgrave Island excursion - that was amazing and completely worth the time. However, the town itself is a bit dated/boring - the only thing we really enjoyed were the bats at dusk.

There is so much fresh produce you can buy direct from the farmers. They sell on market place, when you get there they have an honor system. There is the bundaberg distillery, gin factory and if you want a nice meal you could try the Brothers Sports Club also grunskes restaurant they also sell fresh fish best prawns I've tasted in awhile. Also try the old bundy tavern they have great lunches and a cold beer to wash it down 😉

Great little town, very close to Great Barrier Reef (southern tip of the Reef is less crowded and is the best!) experience and boat to the fabulous Lady Musgrave Island.
Plenty of places to eat and shop.
Loved the trees full of colourful yapping birds in the town centre!

Lived in Bundaberg for many years before moving to the Sunshine coast in 2012 but we still come back too see family and friends as is such a beautiful place, though it is quite sad seeing the amount of homelessness there nowadays 😥 .
The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Rory the Receptionist assisted me to amend a booking and was very helpful. The cleaning are staff are wonderful and always say hello. If you want a delightful Bulgolgi ask James the owner to cook it for you. Very delicious and a traditional Korean meal at its best. The Barista's are wonderful coffee makers. The cafe is a little gem of Bundaberg.
The cabins are a very convenient and inexpensive possibility to stay. There was everything we needed, including bath and toilet which is rather exceptional for a cabin on a campground. All the usual amenities were provided. The Bundaberg Distillery is in walking distance and we did a very interesting tour there. There is a large BBQ grill for whared usage.
The room was clean. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable. Given how close it is to the railway, it was really quiet. Would definitely recommend a king bed room. The highlight was they provided us each with a cold bottle of water in the room which was really appreciated as we were in Bundaberg in very hot and humid conditions.
As the brochure and motels details stated the motel is a bit dated but the beds were comfy, the shower nice and hot and the location perfect for a stay in the CBD of Bundaberg. Across the road from parks and the zoo and if like a morning walk, plenty of pathways to stroll along the river into town. Handy to facilities and food outlets.
Karen was great. Clean, good beds, great shower, clean and silent. Of course not a hotel, but that’s also not what you should expect. For people that like to experience all types of stays like us, this was a great experience. Price-quality wise this is an absolute 10.
These apartments are beautifully presented with wonderful, large courtyards. The units had washing and dryer facilities. Kitchens are well equipped. A big thank you to the staff who took care of our extended family during a rather stressful time.
The bunks each had plugs light and curtains for privacy almost felt like your own room. Bathroom were nice when clean. We did manage to meet some nice people and explore bundaberg
Loved our room and location. Couldn't fault anything about the place. Very comfy bed and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Bundaberg.
Unfortunately I was going to hospital for an operation. hotel was close to the hospital & had everything we needed, we were given an upgrade too. nicely fresh renovated room.
Helen was friendly and helpful and stayed open late until I arrived.
Undercover parking in front of unit.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
5 minutes drive to CBD
We loved the view of the river, the spacious & clean room, the shower pressure, the location of the hotel (in the city centre), the comfortable bed and the friendly staff.
The hotel was clean and quiet, about 10 minutes drive from central Bundaberg. Close to the main road but far enough away so that the traffic noise was minimal.
