Several people tried to talk me out of visiting Bunbury as it has a reputation as having a lot of homeless people and drug abuse. The streets are crowded with discarded trash and furniture. However, there is a beautiful beach which wasn't crowded.

Bunbury is a beautiful seaside town with accessible beaches that go on forever. Try bodysurfing at the lighthouse beach. The Bunbury Farmers Market is open 7 days a week and is a must stop for everything local - produce, meat, baked goods, cheese ….. The town is clean with every type of store you would need for supplies. Don’t miss the Dolphin Discovery Centre. I loved this place.

Bunbury is our regular holiday destination when we dont want...

Bunbury is our regular holiday destination when we dont want to drive too far, but we know that we can relax and take in the beautuful beach views every time we holiday there. It is the centre of everything down South with just a short drive to Busselton, Margaret River or Dunsborough. It never disappoints and the weather is perfect in summer for swimming at the beach. Koombanna bay being our absolute fave for families. There is also plenty of places to eat right at your doorstep to choose from, including the new 'Froth Bunbrewery' yummy and of course lots of wineries to visit :-)

liked that small business are in the city centre, restaurants, cafes & not franchises such as McDonald's, hungry jacks etc The bean & cone is a must visit for all. awesome range of icecream, sorbets for all dietary requirements, seating outside - same as Perth prices, staff lovely too.

The room was clean, immaculate. The housekeeping team do a fantastic job. I had spent a few awful days in perth in really bad accommodation and I arrived there at the Bunbury hotel and it was tranquil and warm and bliss. I had early starts because of a course I attended but that studio was just amazing to get back to. I would easily book there again.

A Beautiful room, all was very clean, attractive and a super comfy bed. Lots of facilities plus a massive bathroom with a spa and big big vanity, so plenty space to put things It is a quiet spot and great to have the peace and quiet. Reassuring to see the hotel and motel are on top of noise disruption, so everyone enjoys their stay.

The location of the Boathouse backing onto the estuary, proximity to pubs and eateries and to the Bunbury township was excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and tidy, and the Hosts were fantastic, making us feel very comfortable while we were sharing their lovely home.

Stayed a night with friends and family to celebrate my birthday. Had dinner at Market Eating Place which is an easy walk back to Lord Forrest. I really like this hotel and stay here often. Love the retro styling, floating around the indoor pool and having a drink on the balcony.

I love how it feels like I'm at home even though it's my first time staying here, it has everything you could possibly want and it's much better than a hotel at a fraction of the cost! I'm definitely keeping this place in mind if I ever need to book a room ☺️👍 10/10
