A charming place to visit and close to Sydney to make for comfortable travel. Which is why it fills up with Sydney-siders on the weekend. If you don't like lining up for a lot of places, visit mid-week if you can.

Bowral is a Historical town filled with some of the best cafes I've ever been to in Australia. They are proud of their organic and fresh produce and its shows in all their food from Cafes to pub grub. Please note because they host a lot of Weddings around here prices can be quite expensive (same price as in Sydney but the food is better). It was lovely strolling around this neighbourhood during the day and night. Everything is close by so there's no need to drive around once your there. The town has huge public car parks at no cost. The residents are wonderful and the people staying here attend Weddings so they are wonderful too. The streets are clean because they is no fast food around and everyone cleans up after them selves. There is a Woollies and Dan Murphey's close by.
The hotel is located right in the centre of Bowral within walking distance of all shops and amenities. We stayed in the rooms behind the hotel which are off the street and away from any road noise. The rooms are clean and spacious and parking is available on your doorstep. The hotel pub/restaurant is next door and we had dinner which was a great decision as the meals were superb.
I had a friendly welcome at reception and my room (35) was clean, spacious and quiet. It was convenient to have a parking spot right outside the room. Value for money was good compared to some of the much more expensive options in the area and the close proximity to Bowral makes it a great option if you need an overnight stay for an event like a wedding.
Beautifully presented, well located only 10 minutes stroll into Bowral. Quiet, secure yard for our mini schnauzer and very thoughtful hosts. Milk and butter in the frig, not just a little, two fresh 1litre milks !
Coffee machine, plenty of pods, huge TV, great home. We’ll be back.
1.Great quiet location just a short drive from main Bowral Shopping centre
2.Loved the view of the golf course and tennis court with a swimming pool also available.
3.Although the room was an older style design, it had all amenities with comfy bed and TV.
Everything about the accomodation was great. A couple minutes drive from Bong Bong St in Bowral. A great size for 2 people. All the appliances you need all in very good condition. Comfy sofa and netflix for when you get back and just want to crash.
Location is great, being halfway between Bowral and Moss Vale. Quite location, but Inn next door was a bonus.
Motel/Hotel grounds were beautiful, with small lake with many ducks and other birds making a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to unwind.
The property was pure Luxury I have been a single parent for 20 years and can’t afford this kind of luxury , I had to book something for a friend christening, would have loved to stay an extra night but just couldn’t thank you for a lovely evening
The property was excellently presented, spotlessly clean, and the owners went above and beyond with the little extras that set this property apart. Would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to Explore Bowral and the Southern Highlands
The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The service was prompt and friendly. The hotel itself is a gorgeous 1920s building is great condition. I could easily have stayed longer. The communal lounge, with open fire place, was super cosy.
Location was great, pool was lovely, staff very friendly. Appreciated the tea and coffee supplies and the kitchen was well equipped for a little hotel room. Easy key dropoff in the morning. Air conditioning was fantastic.
I have stayed in this hotel many times. I like the environment and service. The dinner is very well cooked and the breakfast is also very good. I like it here and will invite friends to come here in the fall.
No frills, clean and simple and reasonably good value for money given the location, which was a decent walk to Bowral for morning coffee!. All in all, a good base to explore the stunning southern Highlands.
The cottage was well stocked with tea, coffee, cereal, fresh milk, and fruit. The washer/dryer worked well. The extra towels and bath robes were a bonus. Excellent WIFI and Netflix.
The room was very stylish, and the bed was comfortable. We had a fantastic dinner at the hotel's restaurant. We are going to book it again when we are there.
