From the moment we parked our car, we had a sense of calm and excitement of what we were about to see inside the hotel. It did not disappoint. The hotel was lively and the restaurant lured us inside with all the sights and smells. We didn't have a booking at the restaurant however we were greeted with smiles and immediately the host made it possible for us to dine in for lunch whilst we waited for our room to be ready. The service and the food were all equally sensational. The Chef's and Hosts worked magically around us and at no point did we ever have to try and get their attention. Nothing was any trouble and this truly set our night for success at the winery concert. Well done to all the staff on all levels for making this a wonderful experience for us. Warmest regards.

We enjoyed a coffee on the veranda and a walk in the garden after checking in. Closer to dinnertime we had a drink by the fire before having a beautiful dinner in the Dining Room! All staff and servers were helpful and pleasant.

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, well appointed cottage with everything you need. The owner generously provided breakfast ingredients, pantry items, and lots of little extras which were well thought out and very much appreciated.
The cottage is also in a quiet location only 5 minutes drive from town.

Bowral was very busy during the weekend stay.
Bowral was very busy during the weekend stay. Enjoyed wandering around the CBD and popping into the many interesting shops. Plenty of options for coffee/morning/afternoon tea. Parking can be a bit of a problem. Enjoyed our Thai meal at Home 9 and a dinner at Briars.

A charming place to visit and close to Sydney to make for comfortable travel. Which is why it fills up with Sydney-siders on the weekend. If you don't like lining up for a lot of places, visit mid-week if you can.

Bowral is a layback place, with nice parks and surroundings.
Bowral is a layback place, with nice parks and surroundings. Great little shops and boutiques if you like shopping and great places for lunch or just have a coffee. I have been in Bowral 4 times for a holiday, and I will still come back for more times as it is a great place to relax.
The range of complementary essential food and drink items on our arrival at Honey Fig Cottage Bowral was more than we could possibly have imagined and made us feel most welcome. All cooking, laundry, bathroom, communication systems, games and facilities were of such high quality and immaculately clean. We lacked for nothing whether it was for a short or long stay. It was obvious that considerable thought has been invested in developing this venue into a perfect retreat and home away from home.
The interior design of the hotel is beautiful, with a country chic cozy manor house feel. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the toiletries were delicious Molton brown and I even found a Dyson hairdryer in the bathroom- a lovely luxury. The restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. Loved the addition of the little hotel shop selling stay necessities which was helpful as Bowral town was a little further in walking from the hotel than I expected.
Great place for a stop over on our way to Melbourne from northern NSW. Bowral is such a beautiful place to stay and this Hotel is just far enough of the town centre for a nice walk in for breakfast, dinner or just to browse the lovely shops. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully styled.
Beautiful old property featuring antiques and artworks. Excellent bathroom and luxurious beds. This property is like taking a step back in time. Those into nostalgia will love it. The fully working pinball machine is a bonus. Well located in a lovely part if Bowral.
Location, gardens and surroundings are typical Southern Highlands and beautifully looked after, can't say the same for the hotel building. Restaurant food was very good and the menu, although not extensive, the fod was well cooked snd presented
Good location, rooms a bit small if staying for extended period of time. However neat and tidy with new bathrooms.
Close to shops - Woolworths, breakfast cafe's, the Bowral hotel and restaurants in the main street.
Lovely hotel in a great location close to restaurants, cafes & wineries. Lovely outlook over the golf course. Room was quite modern, enjoyed the free standing bath & the bed was very comfy
The cottage was well stocked with tea, coffee, cereal, fresh milk, and fruit. The washer/dryer worked well. The extra towels and bath robes were a bonus. Excellent WIFI and Netflix.
Our second stay at Links House. Best restaurant in Southern Highlands. Fabulous accom, lovely attentive staff. It is just wonderful. Going again in a few months
