Close to our function address and the breakfast area was clean. The staff at desk ok but used self check as directed which I found a bit impersonal. No extra pillows in room cupboard and no hand towel. No cold water in fridge which would have been nice on arrival.

Never go to blacktown tavern.
Never go to blacktown tavern. It's a waste of money and time. If u want to get sick than go there. I vomited whole nite because the cattle had black fungus in it. Health and safety is a risk. U pay for hotel and on hot day air-conditioning is not working. U get told by the duty manager off the air-conditioning n open all windows n sleep. No one talks about fixing anything.

The receptionist are not that friendly and doesn't attend to customers query specially when it comes to refunds. We have been calling them and was told that they will ring us back once the manager is in but no call received. It is so frustrating. The hotel quality is so low, so dirty and locks are not working, paints chipped and trash underneath the bed.

The staff could have been a bit more helpful and a bit friendlier, the hotel really needs an upgrade, the breakfast menu really needs upgrading and they need more than one person in the kitchen and they need to upgrade the machines as some didn’t even work.
They need to put soundproof the windows as every bit of outside noise can be heard at all times of the day and night.

The hotel is within walking distance of Blacktown shopping and rail.
Excellent parking on site and good pub meals with bottle shop.
If you want to stay in Western Sydney, Blacktown Hotel is worthy of consideration.
Stayed here many times. Always a good nights sleep. Rooms are clean and modern, if not brand new.
Only minor issue is the TV which seems to suffer poor reception after a hour or so. I have had this same issue in a few rooms at this hotel, so assume it is the system issue, not the TV. Have reported it previously.
Staff are always friendly, bar/restaraunt, reception, breakfast, all good.
The Hotel was very nicely set out. The staff on front desk were wonderful and extremely friendly and quick acknowledgement when you entered hotel.
The bar service was quick and greatly priced.
The rooms were exceptional. The beds were like a cloud to sleep on. The rooms were so so quiet that you got a great nights sleep. The Breakfast was amazing.
There was a drive in out the back. Wow.
The staying experience of room 10 on 13/05/2023 was terrible. The roof is leaking while heavy rain outside. The paint on the wall is all wet and even water dropped on my son’s face while we sleep on the bed. I dare not to open air con the whole night as it worsen the leaking. Please refund as this is an extremely disappointing experience of staying in your hotel.
We enjoyed all our meals at the Blacktown Tavern (Sportsman's Hotel) on the same property. Unfortunately, we decided to depart one day early due to the extreme weather event in SW Sydney (early July 2022). We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a refund for our remaining night (thank you Debbie).
close to Blacktown connected to the Blacktown Workers which was a big plus. Great staff and facilities, washing and drying facilities, Mecca’s next door and 7/11 just up the road. Smaoll centre about 700m up the road busses at the front door on the hour to Blacktown.
Room was clean, bed, surprisingly, very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional and great value for money. I was surprised on how you could not hear other guests like you can in other motels, so a good night sleep was had. Found the staff very helpful and polite.
Atura Blacktown is our favourite place to stay in when we’re in Sydney. Their customer service is by far the best compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Really good facilities, their staff are always so welcoming and helpful
Our first time there, we usually stay at the Travelodge, and with all the facilities available it was very good. The 24 hour reception, room service are valued commodities at our age and they were gratefully appreciated.
I like everything about this hotel. I come here several times a year. Most of the staff are very helpful. I had a flat battery and one of the staff helped me get my car going. I will continue to stay here
good size room with all amentities needed (even foxtel). Hotel is in a quiet location. All staff that we came into contact with were very pleasant and their customer service was a high standard.
