Never go to blacktown tavern.
Never go to blacktown tavern. It's a waste of money and time. If u want to get sick than go there. I vomited whole nite because the cattle had black fungus in it. Health and safety is a risk. U pay for hotel and on hot day air-conditioning is not working. U get told by the duty manager off the air-conditioning n open all windows n sleep. No one talks about fixing anything.

The receptionist are not that friendly and doesn't attend to customers query specially when it comes to refunds. We have been calling them and was told that they will ring us back once the manager is in but no call received. It is so frustrating. The staff could have been a bit more helpful and a bit friendlier, the hotel really needs an upgrade, the breakfast menu really needs upgrading and they need more than one person in the kitchen and they need to upgrade the machines as some didn’t even work. The hotel is within walking distance of Blacktown shopping and rail. Excellent parking on site and good pub meals with bottle shop. If you want to stay in Western Sydney, Blacktown Hotel is worthy of consideration.

Only minor issue is the TV which seems to suffer poor reception after a hour or so. I have had this same issue in a few rooms at this hotel, so assume it is the system issue, not the TV. Have reported it previously. Staff are always friendly, bar/restaraunt, reception, breakfast, all good.
